I'm just saying there's a 90% chance that it was Inky that posted the article as MWoT.
I'm also just saying that I have low expectations for this film and even lower ones for the comic *hangs head shamefully*

"Well duh I posted it. I post all WoT-related news that I find as MWoT.And I thought perhaps to kick off a little discussion by posting something too.
As do I. I doubt I'm going to even get the comic unless I find out from a good many people that it's good. But I'll probably watch the movie out of mere curiosity."

I'm cautiosly optimistic. Hopeing for a Lord of the Rings movie, or better really since there will be newer tech, but expecting an Eragon, or worse. That by no means means that I won't go on the opening day to see "Eye of the World." From what IMDB has listed that is supposed to be the name of the movie out in 2011, I think.

Even for just hoping, that is too much of a stretch. I'm not sure how a movie CAN be worse than Eragon, but I'm sure it's possible. Somehow. eek

I'll watch it just to suport it. But I don't see how that they can put that much stuff from that big of a book into a 2 to 3 hour movie. Now if Universal can go and get with HBO or Showtime and turn it into a mini series, that would be great. Or turn it into a weekly TV show like HBO is doing with George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones".

I had no idea that they were making a movie 'till Mark told me. Sounds cool, though. I'm just hoping they don't cut a whole bunch out, like the did with the LoTR movies... stare C'mon... no Tom?

I know what you mean. Tom was one of the greatest characters from LotR. I hate that they cut him and Old Man Willow out of the movies.
