Ame had only completely grown not to long ago, and was out wondering on his own. He hadn't been so far away from his parents before. And many question were running through his mind. I mean, Ame did forget some of the simplest things sometimes. And he was.. kinda.. dumb. But that was alright.

Ame wondered the in the forest. Looking at all the trees, flowers, animals. He was quite amused by all of it, but only wondered why he was what he was.. And, not a frog or something. The wind didn't blow so strong with Ame wondering around the trees. His tail moved slightly, but paused. He spotted something, greeen. A frog! He lowered his head to the frog, when it suddenly jumped on his face! He began to flail and suddenly cry! Running as fast as he could, he trying to get out of the forest, with loud crying trailing behind him.

Until he made his way to a field, and suddenly stopped. There was something running around, and it stood out quite a lot. His head tilted as he continued to stare at it. His wings stretching, he wondered why the thing running around in the field didn't have wings. How odd was that? Then again, nor did his siblings. He shrugged and continued to look at the dark figure, with a lil froggy hangin' out on his back.

Ame continued to stare at the other male. He wondered what was the stallion was doing in the field. It was a rather nice field with all the colors and flowers. If Ame were younger, he might've got on the other male for "killing" all the flowers and grass he was stepping on. But he was much older now, and knew that was all in his mind. Though, he might forget one day. Lucky for his encounter, he didn't today.

With the distraction of the dark figure in the field, he hadn't noticed how hot it was. Being in the trees before left him with a lot of shade, and didn't feel the affects. But he was feeling it now. Looking up in the sky, he squinted his eyes with the sudden blindness of the sun. Looking back towards the field, white spots filled his sight. Blinking many times to try to see clearly. Shaking his head some, he could finally see, and gave the other male a look over. Thinking if he should just leave or not, he decided to stick around. Ame didn't have many friends, just family. Might as well take up the opportunity.

Stepping back into the trees a little, Ame would rather stick with the shade. His tail flowed back and forth, as he noticed the stallion looking at him. He became a tad bit wide eyed, and wondered what to say. I suppose starting with a greeting wouldn't be so bad.

"Hi there!" He tried to make his voice reach the other, and lifted his front leg as if waving.

Ame watched the other male, he didn't seem rather happy to come across company. Well, from what he saw anything. The distance may not have been that far, but lets just say his sight wasn't as sharp as it could've been (Lawls, I just made that up! :'D). I mean, sure he could see things fine.. They were just a tad bit blurry. But he'd be fine. Ame's eyes widened with the sound of the other stallions greeting. Ame was a rather friendly guy. And even though he didn't know the difference between good and bad people, it'd be nice if he'd stick around the good ones.

Not noticing the frog on his shoulder/back, he watched as the male seemed to be making his way other to him. Ame didn't not like frogs, he was perfectly fine with them. He was just a little surprised the last time. He'd surely become surprised when he realizes the frog was still hangin' around him. But that was for later. Ame was beginning to wonder who this other stallion was. He seemed rather, odd? And what were those things that he managed to put on his head... They sure looked cool.. To Ame anyways. He let the wind blow through his mane and tale as the male came closer. Hmmm. Wonder what today would lead to..

Ame just watched the other male as he made his way over to the shade. As he got closer, Ame could also see the markings on the male. The colors on him seemed much more clearer then they had before. Hmm. There was something about the other stallions colors that made Ame suddenly seem to admire him. He began to examine him all wide-eyed, as if he wanted something he had. But he was doing this quite unknowingly. Sometimes Ame wasn't to aware of what he was doing. Like now, he was probably just gonna confuse the poor male with his weird face..

Just blinking at the snort the male made, he continued to admire his coloration. Letting the wind blow through his mane. But that only let to another distraction. Letting out a giggle at his hair moving about in the wind. Ame was actually quite fond of his mane, he thought it was rather pretty. No lie there. Giggling some more, he finally noticed the frog still on his shoulder. Giving it an odd look nudged at it. But it didn't move, and just began to make noise. Ame didn't mind and brought his attention back to the male, and only became all wide-eyed again...

Getting a tad bit wide eyed at Klei saying something. But seeing him with a weird expression on his face only made him think he was hearing things. But he always things a lot of random things.. Not to mention does a few random things. And for a second, he forgot that Klei was there. When the wind picked up suddenly he couldn't help but, pay attention to his hair swayin' all over the place. He rather liked his hair, and that could not be unseen...

With the sudden sound of the stallions voice. He looked back over to him. Does he interest him? Hmmm. Well, a lot of things interested him. And Klei surely was one. He rather liked his markings and coloration. But that was surely something one couldn't tell with just looks. But knowing Ame, he would surely share it eventually.. Even if he wasn't thinking about sharing it. Sometimes he was to scatter brained to even realize what he is even doing... If that wasn't obvious.. But right now, he was back focusing on Klei..

"I dunno.. Do yooouuu?" He randomly smiled.

Looking at the stallion, Ame watched him as he spoke. What is.. vain..? Ame didn't even know what that word meant.. Was Klei vain? Or.. Was Ame vain? Or was 'vain' another person he was comparing himself to? He had no idea. Looking around, as to try and find out the answers to his questions. His stare only went back to Klei.. Hmm..

"What is vain..?" He asked, his head tilted in confusion.

Now, we all know Ame wasn't the smartest in the bunch. But at least he couldn't get any slower then he was now.. Or could he? His lose of memory did help that a bit.. But that was something he could control. And lucky enough, it wasn't as bad as when he was just a colt.. Noticing how agitated Klei began to get, with just a simple sentence. Ame could only let out a light chuckle. He didn't know he could be so confusing. Scooting a little closer to the black stallion, he looked him up and down. Ignoring his last statement, before he said his own.

"I like your colorful markings!" He nodded..

Ame tilted his head in a bit of confusion as Klei basically told him what 'vain'
meant. Sooo.. If all I think about is myself.. does that make me vain..? He was still a little confused with the whole word. Oh well! Someone is bond to use it again.. Ame being lost in his thought, focused back on the other stallion. Even though he was still unsure what 'vain' meant, he was still rather amused with the male. He could surely teach him a lot.. Possibly..

"Oh, so is that what it means.." He tried to play off as if he understood perfectly what the stripped make said. But it was obvious he didn't.

Looking at the other male, he suddenly looked back at Ame. As if confused with what he had last said.. About him liking his markings.. The 'excuse me' surely should that. But all Ame could do was give him a cute little face as he figured out something else to say. Ame had never run across another who couldn't take a compliment.. Or someone who took it as something odd as the other stallion seemed to have taken it. Which amused him a little bit. But he still kept the cute little kissy like face, until a very questionable 'thank you' was let out. Then his cute kissy face turned into a smile.

"You're welcome!"

Ame smiled at the male.. But noticed he seemed to be looking at him a little oddly. He began to look around nervous he said something wrong, as the male stared at him. He didn't know what to do or say with a reaction like that after a 'thank you'. Until he remembered! They had never introduced themselves! How rude of Ame not to do that. Then again, his mind gets side tracked so easily, it's something he would likely do.

"Umm. Hey! I never got your name.. Mines Ame.." He let out a nervous smile.
