Dunkle Wolken und finstere Gedanken die Vollmondnacht zerbricht meine Schranken. In mir kommt die Gier auf Getier das ich massakrier. Ich spür diese Lust auf Blut jetzt und hier. Abel had been summoned. He had struck a bargain with one who was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. In exchange for aid when asked, the Cat would monitor the Oasis, reporting any who happen to have a dark soul. The Cat had gotten the hang of it, after pointing out minor transgressions at first.
The dark-clothed otter landed on a branch like a huge raven, foretelling the death of some unknowing creature. Maniacal laughter floated up to the winged otter and his eyes darkened...
Earlier that evening, he had been with Sarah in her shop. They had been discussing the blessed arrival of the newest younglings in the Oasis when the Cat appeared in the doorway. "Good evening, Father. You should follow me," it suggested and disappeared again, a smoky pink trail in the trees leading away. Abel had sighed and softly kissed Sarah's cheek. "Wait here for me. And be safe, dearest," he said and took off, following the trail, to the very edge of the Oasis. The lack of the wall allowed many others to come into the Oasis, freely, and with that brought the more evil ones. Things had picked up of late and he was finding less and less time to be with his love...
Crimson eyes watched as a very charming looking otter laughed gleefully as it maliciously tore the fur from a shrieking rabbit. Simply. Because. It. Could. There was no remorse, no going back. The Bringer of Death only had one choice. As silent as an owl, he soared off the branch, diving down as a hawk towards his prey.
Dark clouds and dark thoughts of the full moon night break my limits. In me comes greed for the animals that I massacre. I trace this desire in blood now and here.

Sarah couldn't help it, she was curious, and so she pulled a shawl over her shoulders and quietly followed Abel from below. She lost him a few times, for it was difficult to keep up with her winged angel.
As she moved along she quietly wondered what it was that called him away so often now. She had caught a whiff of feline scent, at first she had thought a customer had come late. It seemed that whatever that cat had been it wasn't a customer. Abel had followed it out though with a gentle goodbye for her and a reminder to take care. She always appreciate that he told her to be careful, when it was most others who were so careful of her.
It was a nice feeling though, being protected even though she often saw herself as the monster.

Tief in der Nacht die funkelnden Sterne. Ein süsser Geruch zieht mich in die Ferne. Hab` acht wenn ganz sacht in der Nacht meine Glut entfacht und der Jäger in mir erwacht. The pitiful thing between the crazed otter's claws was dead by the time Abel had knocked the mad creature away from it. They circled one another for a time before the "angelic's" opponent charged, snarling in anger at the other's intrusion on his sport. Only too late did he see the oddities in the winged otter, the wicked black claws, the sharp fangs.
The winged otter fought against the attack, wings tight against his back and claws slashing. His robes tore at the front and one sleeve was slashed before he found the opportunity. One quick turn and he surprised the dark otter, causing him to pause for a moment. And a moment was all the blood-eyes otter needed. The evil otter fell to the ground with a gurgle, his throat ripped out, staining the pale fur on the large otter's muzzle.
Deep in the night the twinkling stars. A sweet smell pulls me into the distance. Pay attention when very gently my embers are kindled in the night, and the hunter in me awakes.

Sarah picked back up on the trail and followed it quietly, she sniffed at the air and tilted her head curiously for it was tinted with the sweet smell of fresh blood. Her eyes darkened in their usual way, she was a predator and blood called to her. She shook her head and smoothed her bodice reminding herself that she was to find Abel and seek what had been taking his attentions of late.
He seemed vaguely troubled by something each time he left her. She could smell Abel now, but the sweet fresh scent of blood was stronger too. Her eyes widened slightly and she picked up her pace fearful that the blood she found so enticing might be that of her beloved.
"Abel!" She called out frantic before leaping towards him, she saw his back and relaxed slightly. She rushed over to him to ensure he was alright, but halted startled that the blood did indeed surround him, but was not his own.

Es ist das Tier in mir. Es weckt die Gier in mir. Hab` dich zum fressen gern. Kannst du mein Verlangen spür`n. Abel stood over the body of the other otter, its eyes glassy in death and its blood spilling out of the gaping wound where neck met shoulder and chest. The "good Father's" mantle was shed and his hair whipped about in a non-existent wind. His huge wings curled around to his front and lowered so that just the tips of his feathers touched the ground and the blood that had seeped there. Almost immediately, the wings began sucking the blood up, and Abel threw back his head, eyes closed in pleasure. His mouth hung open, showing teeth as sharp as a demonic's, a soft laugh escaping as the taste hit his senses.
When the blood had been sucked dry from the earth, the monster turned on Sarah, smiling... sadly. "Now you see what I am," he said, his voice so much deeper and his clawed paws spread. "Now you know what I can do. Humans made me like this, but I don't fault them. God has His ways. It is true, I eat fish and things like every other otter," he explained and the smile grew to one of pleasure as he licked his lips. "But for me, there is nothing sweeter than the blood of a black-hearted creature."
He slowly approached and ran a clawed paw tenderly over her cheek, the claws scratching through her fur, but not breaking the skin beneath. His control was gone, for the moment, and all his body wanted to do was to taste the sweetness he had felt when they had first met. He stuck out his tongue and ran it over her neck before freezing with a shudder.
The smile faded and the winged otter fell to his paws and head hung, a horrible cry of anger and pain wrenching from his muzzle and tears of blood fell from his closed eyes to splat the on the ground. God, how he hated himself. There was no control when he was like that, but he knew. He knew what he had done when he came back to his normal self. But the worst part was, deep in his body and soul, he enjoyed it, every bit of it. He was just as black-hearted as the creatures he killed.
It is the animal in me. It wakes the greed in me. I have the desire to eat you. Can you feel my desire?

Sarah's eyes widened as she looked around the blood slowly fading away as his wings took it in. She leaned closer as he turned, his voice sent a shiver up her spine. The shiver was not one of fear though, perhaps she held some concern, but mainly she was thrilled that he was alive and well. Perhaps 'well' was not the word to use, but he was alive.
"Now you see what I am," he had said, and oh yes she saw. The trouble was she liked what she saw, he was a champion in her eyes. She could find no fault in one who destroyed the wicked, her only fear was that perhaps she was one of the wicked.
She leaned into his paw and nuzzled it tenderly feeling the delicate scrape of claws she didn't realize he possessed. There went another shiver along her spine, this time one of longing, for his touch enflamed her. His tongue along her neck made her murmur softly and lean closer to him, she pulled him near with her paws and held him tight.
She jerked back startled as he fell and cried out and shuddered as she realized what she was encouraging. His pain was her fault, she encouraged his lack of control, she enjoyed his wild and vengeful side as much as his soft and kind side. She moved to curl close against him and nuzzle him "S'alright love, we all are whot we are..." She murmured softly against his ear and stroked his back.

Silva in lumine. Lunae arcana est. Domus mea... silva in lumine. Stella rum est. Abel shuddered, flinching a bit when she curled against him. "I know, but... I hate it. I hate taking lives, and I hate liking the taste of it," he moaned, pained over his guilty conscious. He lowered himself to the ground and turned his head to look at her, the blood gone from his muzzle, but small trails ran from his eyes. "Sarah... How can you... When I was like that... I wanted to..." he shuddered again and pressed his face into his paws, shaking. He loved her. He wanted to be with her. But a part of him wanted to consume her. And what then?? He would be alone again, and he didn't want want to be alone, not when he had just found her, not when he was just beginning to be happy again for the first time in a long time.

Sarah moved to lay down with him and lightly licked his bloody tears away, the coppery taste sweet on her tongue. His words pained her, for she loved it, she loved the taste. "You only wanted a taste..." She murmured softly believing in his love, in the faith that he would not kill her.
She knew the allure of it and she wished she could feel the guilt that he felt, yet instead she only saw the naturalness of it all. She was what she was, and he was far better, he killed to protect the innocent, she killed to feed herself and others like her. His cause was clearly more noble, but she hoped hers helped in some small way.

Fremde Gedanken wilde Gelüste das Verlangen nach dem zarten Fleisch von Brüsten. Will reissen. Will beissen zerfleischen zerfetzen. Bei lustvoller Jagd meine Beute hetzen. Abel shuddered as she licked away his tears and spoke softly to him. The hunger rose in him, burning through his blood like a fever. Just a taste, yes, nothing wrong with just a taste. "Don't tempt me Sarah..." he whispered, opening his eyes to look at her with his red eye, the blue one darkening. He didn't want to come close. No, he didn't, but... maybe just a little... No. He wouldn't, even if he knew he couldn't get carried away.
Strange thoughts and wild desires long for delicate breasts. I want to tear it. I want to bite and shred and lacerate it. On the lusty hunt my prey scampers away.

Sarah was torn, she wanted to soothe him, to ease his guilt and make him calm once more. Yet the predator in her begged for his savage side, ached to have a companion in the hunt. She dragged her sharp claws lightly above her bodice three enticing lines of her sweet blood appearing instantly.
She lifted her chin and stroked her paws tenderly along his cheek urging him closer wordlessly, she knew what she did might seem so very wrong to some, but her passions urged her to let him taste what he would deny himself. She would never fault him for a desire she held equally strong.

Glutrote Augen folgen deiner Spur. Die Witterung führt über weite Flur. Ich mutier zum Tier, bin ein Geschöpf der Nacht. Ich bin der Jäger des Mondes bis der Morgen erwacht. Abel watched her with wide eyes as she cut herself, and then they narrowed at her. "Sarah..." he whispered, his teeth grit. But he stood and licked her cheek, taking her paw and pulling her up as well. He stared at the marks upon her and shook his head. "Forgive me," he said, kissing the paw he held, his wings rustling at his back. His red, glowing eyes glanced up at her and the teeth in his smile were sharp. "I prefer to do that, myself," he added, turning the paw over and kissing right where her glove began on her wrist. There was a sharp pain as his teeth broke through the skin and his wings curled forward to embrace her. But instead of drawing the blood from the cuts she had made, they shed feathers, one over each one, and they remained on the cuts, soft and warm as the super-vampire otter enjoyed the bittersweetness of his beloved's blood, and ultimately her soul (As it was the soul that made the taste).
He slowly tapered off, making sure to only take a small bit. Enough to perhaps making her a little dizzy or tired, but nothing dangerous. He looked up at her with uncertain, still-red eyes.
Glowing red eyes follow you. The weather follows over distant meadows. I mutate to an animal, I am a creature of the night. I am the hunter of the moon 'till morning awakes.

Sarah watched him carefully trying to ensure she hadn't caused him further pains. As the blood dried against her fur and he pulled her close she resigned herself that he would not take what she freely offered. His kiss was sweet though and made her paw tingle with warmth.
"There is nothing to forg-" She murmured startled at his words and watched him intently now. shivers of pleasure ran down her spine causing the tip of her tail to flick against his.
The kiss felt amazing, the bite warmed her inside out, she clung to him and nuzzled him as she felt herself become woozy. She had never fainted before, certainly this would not be the first time. As she gazed up she couldn't help but think that Abel had the most perfect eyes, fire and ice. "Should I perish twice..." She murmured and drifted into an unfamiliar oblivion.

Silva in lumine. Lunae arcana est. Domus mea... silva in lumine. Stella rum est. Abel's eyes widened and he gently shook her, worry etched on his face. Had he miscalculated? Lost control? By all that was holy, he couldn't lose her to his own stupid choices! "Sarah? Sarah, please open your eyes," he begged, nuzzling her cheek. His feathers fell away from her fur, leaving stained fur, but progressed-to-scab healed wounds. The bite on her wrist was similar, though much more tender. He licked her cheek, holding her close to him.

Sarah murmured and opened her dark eyes slowly still feeling a warm pleasant throb along her chest and wrist. She nuzzled Abel tenderly and felt her cheeks flush with warmth. Had she fainted? How embarrassing! She took in the worry on Abel's face and stroked his cheek.
"I'm fine love just got a lil woozy is all, really." She smiled and licked his muzzle tenderly. She felt wonderful having shared a part of herself with him, a special part that no one else could touch. They were so alike, and so different in so many ways, but they shared their love.
"Are you alright?" She looked at him concerned, she feared that he would continue to berate himself and cause himself more misery and guilt. Meanwhile a plan was slowly forming in her mind as her dark eyes traced the outline of the fallen otter behind them.

Very fine, actually," he replied, his smile growing a small, uncertain bit. His ears perked towards her expectantly as he looked her over to make sure for himself that she was alright.
When he was satisfied, he nuzzled her cheek again and looked at her. He saw that look in her eyes as she was glancing at the body he had completely forgotten about. "What are you thinking, my love?" he asked softly, his voice low, but normal now. He was... a little more accepting now, though he wasn't sure exactly how she had reacted to that... And there was only one way to find out. "Sarah, did you... I didn't hurt you, did I? I'm sorry, but you know I can't help but worry..."
