 Aoi lay at the foot of his beloved tree. He'd opened his eyes to find it'd snowed, much to his displeasure. The raspberries would be dead for sure. His fabled raspberry bush grew just behind his tree, and it was well known to be the only food the god indulged himself on. His bright blue flames flickered as he slowly rose to his feet and made his way around the tree's base to the bush. He let his tails, each adorned with a flickering flame of their own, thrash about in their annoyance of the, newly discovered, cold.
"Now, now." He cooed to the as he leaned over the bush and plucked a frozen berry from it's branch. After a long examination he sighed. "No good." He dropped it and growled when one of the small living flames made themselves heard by him. "A visitor?" His ears perked as he silently hopped it was a certain old male he'd grown very attached to.

Unfortunately, the one that had appeared before Aoi was not the one he desired but a mere mortal ulaya with a touch of winter festivities still lingering on him. Asriel had found his way towards the colder regions, which he had an unnatural affection for in search of nothing in particular, as always. Today, his fruitless search for nothing ended up better than he could have imagine as he found himself in the presence of a strange looking ulaya."Parden my intrusion," he spoke up as soon as Aoi's attention was turn to him. He then let his gaze linger over the live flames raging on the blue male's tail and curiosity and confusion. "Flames?"

Aoi let out an audible sigh of disappointment. "Of corse not." he shook his head and looked back. He examined the stranger from head to toe and determined he wasn't even close to being a threat. But he was far from a treat.
"Is there something I can help you with?" He stared long and hard at the other. "I'm usually the last god one would seek out for advice. And I don't grant wishes." Though his words felt harsh to him, they rolled smoothly off his tongue. He let his tails thrash about in their own display of un-want. This was not the male he desired, far from it...
'But..' The tails slowly slid to a slow tapping on the ground as he thought to himself. 'Why waist fresh meat?' He smirked.
