I PMed WindowOpener about it, on the pretense of a bad Cappy guild thread, and added the question in as a side comment.
He hasn't read it but the thread is gone. I'm worried that there might be something going on with him... something not-so-good.
Has anyone heard anything from him lately?

I haven't heard anything from him lately and he hasn't stopped by here in awhile. He tends to stop by every now and then whenever we ask him to but I haven't seen him in a bit...

What is 'Broadcasts'? (If you are a guild captain or VC it is 'Moderator Controls' -> 'Edit Guild Settings') There, at the bottom are check boxes for who can use them.

whee You're such a tease. Can you at least deny or 'no comment' on the theories that it might be Guild Mass PMs?
If you aren't allowed to say much, would it be possible to explain why 'moderators' is the lable on one of those checkboxes? That one seems odd to me.
~Metalic_Noodles To be honest, even we aren't sure *L* It may or may not be Mass PMs, it might also be a newsfeed that goes in the Guild homepage, there's a few theories and no one tells us anything (we just work here razz ). As for the Moderator option... we have NO idea why that's there @_@ Sorry! There'll be a release about what that really is once the devs finish it, I'm sure.

Interesting alternative. A guild news feed might be at least semi useful, even if not quite as affective as mass pm's.

The way the moderator replied, I thought that she already knew or had received hints, but had been told to not say anything. The part 'will be an awesome announcement' help in my assumptions.

WindowOpener was last on Gaia 8/29- and he has a lot of Mod duties which keeps him from the guilds- plus- school, so give him some time to answer questions.... And broadcasts by guild mods would be fantastic- as long as the programmers do it so it only goes to guild members. Mass pm'ing was abused and that's why it was stopped 2 yrs ago
