Anyone saw it?I idd

heya, i havent seen it, but i want to cry

i've seen all the movies exept that. Can you tell me what happens....?

Oh yeah, I saw it. I watched eatch clip one at a time and it was divided into like four different clips so I still have to watch it all the way through with the clips together.

I've seen "Guren no Horaijima", and I hated it. The concept behind the story was excellent, and it had a lot of potential. However, Sunrise mucked up the plot. Eventually, all that became of "Guren no Horaijima" was some crap that was made soley for the purpose of rabid fans. Kikyou, who should have played a much bigger role in this movie came out only once or twice.

Sesshoumaru, who seemed to have much less connection with the Hanyou island, came out a lot more. Sure, they made an attempt to incorporate Sesshoumaru into the story, yet they failed. His connection to the story was weak as hell. The only connection was that his... friends...? were slaughtered by the war gods (Don't recall what they're called in Japanese, so please excuse the lame-a** name) and had their weapons taken from them.

Another big turn off was the fact that the movie did not have a beginning. It seemed to start off in the middle and then go on for them. I didn't even see the relevance of that fire-war-god dude attacking the village except for the fact that he was supposed to meet Sesshoumaru. As great Sesshoumaru may be, his battle with that war god was WAY too quick.

Perhaps the biggest turn off of all was the little "Kagome-beat-up" scene. I hated that scene a lot. Though Kagome does talk back to people she shouldn't be messing with, the king pin war-god dude was the one that beat Kagome up without any reason at all. Hell, Kagome didn't even have time to talk back to him. He just came in, saw her, found out she was a miko, then beat the crap out of her.

Watching that scene only made my suspicions on that fact that "Guren no Horaijima" was all fan-based, stronger. Though, in the end, Kagome and Inuyasha end up being the ones who ultimately kill the war gods, she was virtually useless and did not do as much as she did in the first three movies. Though "Guren no Horaijima" could have been my favorite movie (even surpassing "Tenka Hadou no Ken"... le gasp!), with these flaws it quickly became my least favorite.

The graphics were, I must admit, absolutely breath-taking. The effects were flawless (unlike that of "Tenka Hadou no Ken") and the colors were so vivid and bright and extremely dynamic. In fact, the coloring and the effects were so good, "Guren no Horaijima" came out fairly okay even on my crappy internet-DVDs. That was how good the effects and the inking and the coloring was. "Toki o Koeru Omoi" and "Kagami no Naka no Mugenjou" could not even COMPARE to the color quality.

Though "Tenka Hadou no Ken" was able to rival "Guren no Horaijima" in animation quality, a lot of some technical problems take away a lot. In animation, "Guren no Horaijima" is my favorite movie, but in plot and content, it quickly went down on my s**t-list.
