That's what our town is. It's probably the best way to put it. Everything is just....Blah. I HATE it. There's no creativity. Everything's negative and angry and terrible. Almost all my friends are leaving after this year since they're all seniors and I'm only a stupid sophomore and they're the only ones who know anything about ANY of this and the only one's who I can actually ASK for help from. I don't know what to do and I don't think I can last another 3 years here.
I guess what I'm' trying to say is, help please?

how is this occult?
If you want personal advice, ill give it to you. Reach out and seize your life. Do what ever you can to change the outcome, even if it means losing everything. You can not play it safe when something valuable is on the line. If you are feeling bored, and want to start a spark, get up and yell. get in an argument with a teacher, about morals are ideals. Make sure she or he insults you, then kick over a desk, empty her stuff on the floor, and walk to the office skipping.
Obviously, that's a little drastic, but live a life of no regrets. Magic isnt gonna ave you on this one. What im saying is, doing something that will make a dent in what is the "norm".
I started a walk out when I got bored last year smile

Be happy you had friends like that. Rather than having been mute for entirety.

Well, there are such things as emotional imprints. For instance, my friend's house makes my skin crawl with the negativity in there. I've never heard of one that overlapped an entire town, so I doubt that's what's in effect here.
However, if you feel the need to do something metaphysical in response, I'd say making a sacred space is never a bad thing. Just find somewhere that isn't very high traffic, or such a thing will become scattered and diffuse. (My personal beef with the hordes of people who circle Stonehenge for pictures and stuff...I'm surprised anything's left.) This way, if you get dragged down by the atmosphere, you have a sanctuary to recharge in.
As far as the social aspects, send them on with your blessings, and begin a new group. It isn't difficult if you just keep your eyes open...I find like-minded individuals everywhere I go.

I guess what I'm' trying to say is, help please? Congratulations! You're finally disaffected by the Human Race! =D Not much you can do really, apart from hope that 2012 either brings about universal enlightenment or wipes the buggers off the face of the planet. >.>

Hon, we're all going through this. You think I don't feel the same about them leaving? As I said, nothing good happens quickly. Bad things may come at your faster than you imagined, but the good things take perseverance and courage and steadfastness, and sitting here analyzing why everything is going to suck for the next few years is only going to make them suck harder.
