A sad lonely howl filled the cool night air with the sound of it's heart wrenching cry. The creature who had vocalized in such a manner was surely experiencing some great inner turmoil. Indeed the she wolf who was responsible for the cry was laying on the bank of a fast flowing river. Her fur was soaking wet and a startling shade of blue, infact her tongue was blue too, and her nose, even the pads of her paws! The only none blue feature she possessed was a golden bracelet that was firmly affixed to her right front leg, and her startling amber eyes, which were currently closed. Tears however were escaping from beneath her lids and moving down her muzzle to mingle with the water already present.
The entire sight was both picturesque and pathetic and simply begged the question...What was going on here?

Xihuitl slinked along the deserted forest as all sings of life eluded him. He sighed not knowing why he was always thought of as a danger to other's lives. The sky opened up before him as he left the heavy trees and stepped into a field, he could see only spots of green and gold for miles. . . .but wait. Blue? there was a hunk of blue out there.
Intrest getting the best of him, he started running along the terrian to get to the blue mystery. Stoppig he saw that it was a wolf not much younger than him and she was....crying. He sniffed the air and fonud no other scent of wolf. "Are you alright miss?" He asjed trying to sound more friendly.

Her head snapped up at the sound of another and her amber eyes opened wide as she spotted him. She had hope for a moment, and then uncertainty, she stood slowly and moved towards him.
"I...I don't know..." She shook off suddenly as if only just now realizing she was wet, her body ached in the type of pain that one only achieves after a battering.
"I can't remember..." She trembled and her voice became smaller "anything."

The star spotted male looked at her up and down "You lost your memory, would you like some help? Do you remember anything at all, a name or a place?" He asked suddenly wanting to help this female so much.
He'd always had a soft spot for females but he wasn't a palyer or anything. If he ever were to find a mate he would be loyal to her.

"No...no I'm afraid not, I don't really remember anything...I don't even know why I'm wet." She frowned and looked over at the river as if it was obvious yet the reason escaped her. She looked at him and sighed "I had hoped you might know me?" Yet she knew in her heart he did not.
She looked down sadly and closed her eyes filled with dread and uncertainty. She had no clue as to her past or if someone might look for her. Her ears dropped back dripping from the tips and she glanced at her bracelet curiously and confused.

He looked at the ground for a moment then back up at the blue wolf "How about i give you a name and you can travel with me until you can remember your past life?" He asked hopnig she would say yes. He was terrible lonely and his friend Conall was pack trying to find more recruits for their family.

Her ears perked and she looked at him hopefully, at least with a future to look forward to, and a name she could call herself things would seem brighter. She felt incredibly tired now and the comfort of having a friend to travel with come morning was very tempting.
"That would be most helpful, please." She murmured and looked at him hoping for a name that might trigger something for her.

Xihuitl perked up when he hear that she would come with him "How about.......Desdemona? A beautiful sounding name for a beautiful blue flower" He said doing a small bow to her.
"If it will suit you of course" dding tha last part to the end jsut incase she didn't like it.

"Desdemona..." Yes the name rolled off her tongue nicely and felt oddly familiar. She smiled and tipped her muzzle towards him in thanks. "It's perfect, thank you...it helps." She nodded softly feeling better now that she had a name to identify herself with.
"Forgive me but what is your name sir?" She tilted her head and looked at him curiously.

"Oh...i'm Xihuitl, but most call me Xihu for short" He said looking at the ground. It was odd now telling other his name because he'd always been aronud others who just knew him. He could hardly remember his name at times.
"Shall we be moving then? While its still somewhat light out?" He asked knowing that they would probally need to find a place to rest.

"Xihu, well thats unique" She nodded and watched him uncertain if she had somehow upset him. He seemed quiet and contemplative, she smiled and nodded at his question.
"Yeah I guess we should..." She shook off again trying to get the last of the water from her coat, she remained damp of course and hoped she would dry before the night could chill her. "Where are we going?" She asked softly feeling mildly confused not having known from where she came or where she was headed.

"Well if you really wanna know, me and my dear friend Conall are forming a pack, of renagades actually." Xihuitl said knowing it sounded kinda stupid. A bunch of misfits that didn't really fit together, but needed to feel wanted.
"So i'm trying to find other who need a home. As of now you have a spot in my pack" He said then frowned "At least until you find your true home again."

"A pack of renegades eh?" That sounded terribly exciting to her, especially since she had no other real ideas about what to do or where to go. The word pack made her mind tingle though, as if she could faintly remember something important about packs. Had she perhaps had one?
"A pack..." She murmured softly trying to grasp the memory even as it fled her. Swirls of red and yellow danced before her mind's eyes before fading away.
"Well I'm glad to have been found by you Xihu, your most kind." She smiled her tail wagging to and fro eagerly.

The male chuckled and nodded "Well you shall be my guest until we find your memory" He assured her "You will always have a home" His voice was quiet.
"I'm nothing kind, i've just want to help a beautiful younge female. I have a soft spot for the other sex." He said as they entered the forest again. He thought about his words and realizied how bad they sounded.
"Uhhh.......not for that, they are jsut nice and caring" He added quickly feeling slightly nervose.

His words made her shiver at first as if she could almost remember something familiar and unpleasant, but she laughed lightly at his nervousness. Desdemona relaxed easily once she saw the male had meant no harm or offense with his words. She nodded happily, grateful to have so quickly found a friend, a place and person to turn to.
"It's alright, thank you for your help, your kindness. I wish I could do something to thank you more. I'm not to sure what my skills are..." She sighed and tried to flex her muscles and jolt them into reminding her what she was good at.
