Am I the only one, or do some animes have good, 'accurate' ratings, while others' ratings make no sense at all? XD;;
Discuss in this thread on the topic of anime/manga ratings. (And by 'rating' I mean things like "Teen" or "16 and Up" or "Everyone" or "Mature.")

Some ratings that I don't believe are accurate:
Trinity Blood - I watched the whole anime, and I have no idea why it's rated "M." There's no nudity, swearing, or gory violence. So...yeah.
Beauty Pop - I'm reading the manga right now, and I'm on Volume 7 or 8. It's rated "T," but I believe it could be rated for everyone, because the storyline is so cute and simple, and the worst language they have is basically "you jerk!" So...I don't understand why it's rated for teens. Anyhow, it's a cute manga, and enjoyable. ^_^
But, I suppose lots of animes have accurate ratings in my opinion. Like Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Elfen Lied, Avatar, and others. Wait...what IS Avatar's rating exactly? XD;; It says "Y7" but I have no idea what that means. 0_0

Anyways, I think Avatar should be rated that. ^_^ Anyone 7 and up can handle Avatar. Perhaps even younger...
Oh, and another anime whose rating annoys me is Fushigi Yugi. It's rated Teen, like PG-13. But...they should have raised it to 16 and up, or Mature, because there was some nudity in it. And a lot f nudity in the OVAs... Ugh... Without warning! At least Elfen Lied had an "M" rating, so you could see it coming...
