Kunimai Chi looked back and forth nervously. She took a few steps forward and suddenly bumped into someone. Letting out a small scream, she quickly covered her mouth when she recognized the voice.
"A-Allen...?" she whimpered. This wasn't the first time she had been outside in the dark, but something about tonight made her feel uneasy. The mist in the air wrapped around them, pulling them together. Chi looked up, a bit of the moonlight sparkling in Allen's eyes.
"I was... looking for you."

Flinching Allen hoped he hadn't scared her to much, looking at her concerned he pulled the scarf off and put it around her neck "Chi are you okay?" Looking around he couldn't help but notice the mist that seemed to be pulling them closer together.
He blushed lightly as he reached for her hand he couldn't but smile softly at her words "I was looking for you as well.." Looking into her eyes he couldn't help but marvel how beautiful she was, he felt lucky to know her. Leaning down he brushed his muzzle against hers before glancing in the direction of the shop some what embarrassed "Do you want to head inside? It's getting a bit cold. Or if you want we could take a walk." He smiled at her in the darkness just happy to be with her.

"I'm fine now. Just didn't expect to bump into you." she laughed a bit, glad that she had found him. The clouds began to seperate little by little. She knew soon the moon would be fully visible.
"Actually, there's a mountain trail nearby. The peak reaches over the treetops and the moon seems so big up there, it would be the perfect place to spend time with someone you--" Chi cut herself off. It was if her heart had taken control of her mouth and she kept talking though she wasn't even trying.
"I mean, it's one of my favorite places in the world, and I've always wanted to share it with someone... special. Not even my own family knows. The begining of the trail is covered by tall weeds and thorns, but I managed to find a way through." Chi held onto Allen's had softly.
"Would you like to go?"

Allen let a thin smile spread across his face, he was glad he hadn't surprised her to much. "Well that's good, and I really didn't except to bump into you either." With his unoccupied hand he ran his fingers through his bangs letting them fliff back down over his eye. "It's a good thing we did run into each other though I still had to return your scarf to you."
Looking back towards the forest he considered going to the peak, he was sure it would be fun. Noticing she stopped her sentence short for some reason he glanced back over at her as she continued again. "Hmmm.. Really? Then I would be honored if you showed me it. "
He purred lightly and nodded "Of course."

Chi smiled lightly, her fingers grasping onto Allen's hand. She began to walk towards the thickening forest. Though it was dark and hard to see the way, Chi could remember every footstep it took to get there. It was her favorite place on earth, especially on a night like this, especially shared with another.
"Just up ahead there's a patch of thorns and weeds. If we turn over here, there's a small hole, small enough to crawl through. I sure hope you'll fit!" she snickered a bit. Kneeling down, Chi felt the ground with her hands, attempting to find the entryway. She felt a small spot where the wall of weeds ended and signaled Allen to get down next to her and look.
"Would you like to go first or shall I?"

Allen felt Chi's hand grasp his before she started to lead them through the forest he couldn't help be nervous since he couldn't see where he was stepping very well but he was confident Chi knew where she was going. After all this was her special place he doubted she would forget the way easily.
Perking his ears he listened as her voice floated through the dark "Okay" He chuckled at the part about him fitting "I sure hope I fit." Noticing she knelt down he joined her "This is the hole?" He indicated with his hand to the small spot where the wall off weeds ended.
Thinking about her question he considered going first " I guess I could. Unless you would like to go first if I really got stuck." he laughed lightly.

Chi giggled slightly. There was always that possibility he could get stuck. She had always fit before... but before, she wasn't an anthro. Now she had doubts about fitting herself.
"Ah, alright, I'll go first." Crawling on her hands and knees, Chi got even closer to the ground, pulling herself through the hole with her arms.
Luckily I'm so skinny now.
"Alright, I'm through!" she said, a voice on the other side of the great wall. Crossing her fingers on both hands, she prayed Allen would make it through. She wanted to spend time with him here, and if he couldn't fit through the hole, there was almost no way.

Allen nodded "Okay." Even though he was mostly joking about getting stuck he really hoped he didn't, he was pretty thin but the fact he was taller and bigger than Chi made himself doubt slightly. They had come all the way here after all and he didn't want to disappoint Chi. Watching her disappear as she started go through he listened quietly until he heard her voice through the hole. "Okay, I'll go in just a second."
Repeating what he saw Chi do earlier he got down to his knees and pressing his wings tightly to his back then squeezed in pulling himself with his arms. He went through easier than he thought and landed on the other side with an "Omph"
Looking up at her with a grin he pulled himself up and dusted himself of with a chuckle "That wasn't so hard."

Chi watched Allen land with a thud. Grabbing his hand again, she began to walk up the mossy trail. There were a couple rocks which were uncomfortable under her feet, but it didn't bother her. They were almost there, and could spend the rest of the night together. It wouldn't be so cold if they snuggled together...
Chi's daydreams ended as she realized that just beyond the whispy branches of the willow in front of them, they would reach the flat peak of the mountain. There, the moon would shine brightly above them and they could lay in the soft moss beds, under the willow trees. They could talk, they could laugh, they could... possibly, she hoped, share their first kiss.

Allen felt the warmth of her hand again as she started leading them again this time a mossy trail with rocks here and their, he didn't mind them to much. He couldn't help but feel some what excited he was guessing that they might be getting close and he was curious to see what the place was like.
Noticing the branches from the willow trees in front he could see that they were nearing the peak of the mountain. With the moon glowing brightly up here he got a good look at his surroundings and he couldn't help but wonder how Chi found such a beautiful place. "Wow.. This is great." Smiling brightly he looked down at her.

A smile curved on her face. Chi leaned over, whispering into Allen's ear.
"I'm glad you think so... Would you like to go sit over there?" she pointed to a nice, soft area of moss.
"I don't think we'll have to worry about being cold if we sit close enough..." she whispered even quieter, not even attempting to speak. Leaning her head lightly on Allen's shoulder, she closed her eyes, trying to take everything in. The feelings, the smells, everything that made this moment what it was.
I love you... I haven't known you for long, but I love you...

A small shiver went down Allen's back as Chi leaned over to whisper in his ear then looked in the direction she pointed at. "Sure, that would be nice." The moss looked soft and comfortable but his train of thought was cut off as he had to strain his ears somewhat to hear what she said. "Y-yeah.." A rosy shade colored his cheeks as he mouthed a reply, the words barely audible.
Looking over at her as she leaned her head onto his shoulder he couldn't help smile softly at how peaceful she looked, everything felt so perfect at the moment. He wondered this feeling he felt the whole time since he had met her.. Could this really be love? Blushing deeper at the thought he didn't deny it though.
Taking a look back over at the moss he squeezed her hand lightly "Want to go sit down?" Leading her over now he found a spot that looked comfortable he bent over plopping down softly then pulled her down to letting her land softly in his lap. Wrapping his arms around her he rested his head on her shoulder and smiled looking as her. "Is this okay?"

Chi allowed herself to be led to the moss. She sat calmly into his lap, holding onto the arms that blanketed her.
"This is fine... you are rather... comfy." she hummed. It was her own perfect little world. She wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Leaning her head back a bit she let her face come close to his. Blushing bright pink, she closed her eyes.
"Thank you for coming with me..."
S-should I kiss him...? Is it right for me to make the first move?
Chi sat still, unsure of her next action.

Allen closed his eyes and nodded his head lightly happy that this was okay. Letting out a small chuckle he couldn't help but grin "I am, am I?" He felt surprisingly calm for some reason, just holding her in his arms like this.
"Haha, you know I should be the one to say thank you.. This place is really wonderful."
Letting out a small purr he opened his eyes and couldn't help notice how close together he had put their faces by putting her in this position on his lap. He wondered what couples would normally do together alone like this and this set his face one fire once again at the thoughts.
Mentally slapping himself he looked back over at Chi nervously
I-i wonder.. Would she get mad if I moved to quickly..?
Holding his breath for a moment still unsure of his decision he leaned over enough so he could let his lips brush against hers. Holding it like that for moment he withdrew frazzled he wasn't even sure if that would be considered a kiss.

A calming feeling swept over Chi. Allen seemed to be enjoying himself quite a bit, as she had hoped. Though it was late in the night, she didn't feel weary for staying awake so long. Chi's eyes remained closed for a second longer. She felt the soft lips belonging to Allen quickly retract. Opening her eyes slowly, she smirked.
"What kind of kiss was that?" Leaning her head forward, she pressed her lips smoothly against his. There was no pressure in the kiss, but it seemed stronger than anything. Hoping that he would not reject her for making a move on him, Chi moved away again.
"I-I'm sorry." she blushed and looked down.
