He lead the way down paths he knew, down a road well travelled to the place where he knew his daughter was. He had missed her and despite the heavy scent of lions in the area he confidently trotted forwards. Looking back behind him he smiled at Zebadie, he knew this would be their parting, his heart was sad, yet happy at the same time, he was loosing one love to return to another.

Zebadie kept her head high, her golden eyes peeled on the path ahead, she was a little worried for the scent of lion was heavy here but she was trying to stay focused, stoic, trying to keep the emotion from her very being. She was about to loose Gobo and it broke her heart to know that.
"Are we nearly there?" she whispers, catching up to the big brown male and rpessing her shoulder to his, her heart raceing like a jack rabbit.

From between the trees, a young lioness emerged, she was bright, exceedingly bright infact, a most shocking blue perhaps had never been seen. the look on her face was a smile and she raced from the undergrowth to tackle gobo "GOBO! you're back! I was convinced you wern't ever comin back!"
The little lioness giggles grooming the big klispringer happily, thatw as until she noticed the black and white female. "Who's this?" She smiles, "Have you braught a friend to stay with us Gobo?"

Gobo chuckled as he feigned and lay down so that the rambuctious lionesses tackle would not hurt. he whinnied happily leting out pleased grunts as his daughter cleaned his face. "You knew I was coming back. I owuldn't just leave you." He smiles slowly nudging the little lioness from his body so that he could once again be upon his hooves. "This is Zebadie, she has been travelling with me galanthus, and no, she will not be staying, she needs to return to her herd soon."

Zebadie took a step back when Gobo was tackled, though she did not run. Clearly this was her. This was Gobos adopted daughter. Shelooked the little female over scheptically, she was clearly about the age of a juvenile but she was very small, almost weak looking. Gobo said he had raised her as best he could, but even she could tell she was tiny.
Once addressed the strippd klippy bowed her head a little. "Gobo has spoken of you much." Shele out a slight huff, she was trying to remain civil but it was taking every ounce of her will to do it and that willw as running thin.

Galanthus looked over at the female klipspringer and tilted ehr head, she wasn't quite sure what was wrong with the female so she shrugegd it off. "Well I'm glad you're back any way! Are you going to stay the night Zebadie? My den is a little over this way I promise you'll be safe with me!" She puffed out her chest, she was clearly proud that she could protect Gobo from others, especially lions whom might wantt o eat him.

Gobo looked to zebadie and smiled, a slight pleeding in his eyes. One more night together, even with Galanthus there was one more night together.
"You have your own den now hmm? Decided not to bunk with the other youngsters?" he chuckles and nudges galanthus lightly. "lead the way little one."

Zebadie looked back the way she had come, the way they had travelled knowing that in that direction was home, home away from gobo, but still home. She paused for a moment only to trot off after the two. "I should rest I suppose before making my way back home. I'll be leaving first thing in the morning though.

Galanthus giggles and bounds off through the trees leading the two klipspringers to a small cave, comfortable, filled with certain fluffy pelts that belonged to creatures. It was a comfortable den even if she didn't realise it would be uncomfortable for the two klipsringer to rest on the pelts of fellow prey beasts.
She settled near the back of the den and waited for them to join her her head resting on her paws and her tail flicking happily. She finally had her true friend back. gobo had been like a father to her and she missed him like she would miss a peice of her heart.

Gobo trotted in through the entrance and lay a little ways from the snoozing Galanthus, he raised his head and smiled at zebadie, he knew she would not stay, this was not her place, but at elst they had one last night sleeping side by side. She was his one true love, but Galanthus was his daughter and she held his heart in a different way than Zebadie did.

Laying beside Gobo she closed her golden eyes, allowing a sigh to roll over her lips, a tear roleld down her cheek but she hid it from the resting male. She had to go but part of her heart would always be here beside Gobo. Always.

The morning rose like any other, the bright sunshine dancing through the trees and Zebadie stood in the open air, enjoying the freshness of this place. she smiled, at least she knew Gobo would be safe. Letting out a gentle sigh she looked back in to the den where father and daughter slept on like lambs.
Taking a deep breath and stepping forwards the stripped female smiled. They would meet again she was sure of it, and until then she would have to be alone.

Gobo lifted his head and gazed out at the sunlit sillouette of the female he loved, he smiled wistfully "good journey to you my love" he whispers to the breeze before settling his head back down.
He knew one day they would meet again but for now, they must be appart as much as it hurt them both.
