The Market District is a wide cavern that houses the cities many traders, merchants and taverns. Its broad streets are well lit by magical sconces hung from far above. Enigmatic guards on riding lizards patrol the streets and alleys. Anything and everything can be found, traded for or sold here. Slaves line the alleys waiting to be sold, while prostitutes and thieves ply their trade upon the masses.

((Very clever))
Zarud walked into the blacksmkith and requested a large amount of steel and iron to be forge, then he went to the craftsmens and purchased a variaty of different sized gears. After a days work the first of many was ready, the first of the Iron Spiders of Au'shinduago.

valthier didn't realyneed supplies right away, but he needed to take a walk. he took his merry time, browsing shops first, then returning to them in patterns to purchase his things. expensive spell components weren't what he normally bought here, he tried to get only inexpensive or completely local fare here. he had other sources of what he realy needed, in Union, the demiplane city run by the Mercanes. he made a promise to himself that he would take that free spa service he earned when he took cassandra along with him for the errand run. he had promised her he'd take her there whenever she wanted, bt it was too late now.

As Reivan walked through the streets he entertained the idea of him and Seth together. The thought made him laugh. Seth was beautiful, more so than most females save for Kiaransalee, hell, sometimes he wondered if Seth was the embodiment of the goddess herself. The thing was, she was as deadly as she was gorgeous. Reivan on the other hand was much too rough in comparison. His eyes were a deep blood red, not the shimmering crimson of hers. his skin was tough and worn from his wandering days, he was missing one eye and his chest was deeply scarred from a claw wound. "It would be like a Gnoll marrying a goddess." he said with a smirk before turning down the street that connected to House Quel'Aran.

Still round the corner there may wait, Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. With all the shopping drow it almost seemed like a normal market to Eledhwen. They seemed to be shopping and living like they did on the surface, something none of the woodelves would ever have expected. She was a woodelf herself. Her long blond hair and blue eyes would say enough, if the fact that she wasn't dark skinned and white haired wasn't enough. It took Eledhwen alot of effort to be able to see in this darkness. All the light that showed was from those purple lights of which she wondered what they were.
If only she would be on a trip here, then she could turn around and leave. But she couldn't, her hands were bound with a rope and was held by the drow that walked in front of her. Though she wasn't the only one that was being dragged along. Eledhwen sighed and wished she atleast had her flute. It hadn't taken them long to drag her off as she had no weapons, just her flute and bag. The woodelf had been on her journey to become a bard. Eventually they stopped at an open spot and were told to keep standing in broken common.a new road or a secret gate.

Zarud looked at the over the slave masters shoulder "I'm not really into the whole slave trade," "Oh come on you must be having a laff! Here look at this pretty woodelf, she worth a fair bit she is,"

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. Eledhwen just stood still as she tried to see some of the environment. All those stories about the Underdark. Back home she had laughed about it. But it looked like it that she was stuck here now. Sighing she looked up when she heard the slave master talk to someone in a language she didn't understand.
It looked like it was a drow, but luckily, the woodelf had had the worst shock from being confronted by the elves that were feared and hated so much on the surface. But she could just not hate anyone without seeing for herself, though till now it seemed the words of cruelty, slave trade and such were very true.a new road or a secret gate.

Zarud looked at the woodelf then back at the slave master "How much are you asking for?" the slave master smiles "Thats the spirit, she 5000 gold pieces!" "That seems a bit expensive," "Well she was difficult to capture," Zarud looked at the woodelf once again "fine," he gave the trader the gold after which the trader cut the ropes.

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. Noticing the drow looked at her after the slave trader pointed to her, Eledhwen atleast understood a bit what this was about. If only she had been stronger or would have listened to her father when he tried to teach her fighting, she might not have ended up here. Her music couldn't help her now. They seemed to be bickering about something. Maybe the price didn't please the buyer.
When the drow looked at her again, Eledhwen looked away a bit as she feared she knew what this would mean. When the trader cut her ropes she looked up surprised as she wondered why he did so. She could run if she wanted now. But the girl was quite sure she would end up dead then as they all seemed highly trained here. With a soft sigh Eledhwen awaited what would happen and how her life would be from now on. The stories of cruelty creeped her out a bit now as she rubbed her wrists.a new road or a secret gate.

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. Silently she followed her new master trough the dark halls. Since Eledhwen didn't know if he spoke other then Undercommon, she thought it would be useless if she spoke anyway. When they went to a cafe she looked around and wondered what they were doing here. Perhaps he was thirsty or some. though the surprise only grew when he spoke to her in her own language and not even commanding.
Wondering what this all would bring she sat down on a chair and decided to wait and see. As this one acted differently then the slave trader. As usual she would just wait and see and not judge anyone on race or beliefs. "Thank you, master" she answered in Elven.a new road or a secret gate.

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. Eledhwen looked up at her master as he asked her name. For now it seemed she had been lucky with the change of her life that came here. "Yes master, my name is Eledhwen." she answered him politely. She wasn't sure what to call him yet, but Master seemed the safe way out to her. Then she decided to be a bit more direct however, as she did need to know where she stood. "How do I call you, master?" she asked him softly.a new road or a secret gate.
