FallingBird sat up. Nothing to do today but be lazy. She loved these kinds of day... No one usually bugged her about patrols...or hunting..or anything... She sighed.
Heading out into the clearing she looked around. She was up late. and the camp was alive with activity. She looked around. No one would mind if she snuck out. She smiled and slipped out of the camp.
She loped down the bank and stopped in a patch of shade. Stretching she sighed and settled her fluffy fur down onto the cool rock. one Blue-gold eye popped open she glanced at the rock in front of her. Stupid bugs.
The rock was swarmed with lady bugs. She sighed. squishing one happily with a defiant cracking squish

All day Luckyspots had avoided anyone who might want to force him on a patrol. Today all he wanted to do was goof off, although that's what he did pretty much everyday.
So finally he decided he should just sneak out of camp. That way no one would find him and tell him to do something.
Now he was on his own, relaxing even with the sun making him feel hot and uncomfortable. He had been watching ladybugs on a rock, when he heard somewhen approach. He ducked for some cover and watched as a beautiful brown and blue she-cat settled onto the rock.
He watched her squish one of the ladybugs with a sickening crack and he couldn't help letting out a squeak.

FallingBird was lifting a paw to squish another but stopped hearing a squeak. She frowned. Tipping her head lightly she poked her head into the bush. Coming nose to nose with the tom.
She jumped. Her heart racing wildly as she stepped back onto the ladybugs. She looked at them shaking them off her leg and she peeked back into the bush. "What in starclan's blooming name are you doing in there?"
She looked behind her self and sat in a ladybug free area. Gosh she disliked insects.

Luckyspots smiled at the she-cat's response and came out of the bushes, sitting next to the ladybug rock.
"I was just enjoying the day outside the camp is all." Then he remembered that he had probably startled the she-cat. "Did I scare you?"

FallingBird nodded. "Same here." she was glaring at the rock,"That is..." she flicked a ladybug a bit away. "Until i started being used as a walk way..." She glanced up and nearly jumped a second time. She was looking at a giant insect.
Smiling softly she lowered her eyes back to the hundreds of ladybugs on the rock. "Im FallingBird...I dont believe we have met properly..." She glanced back up Golden-blue eyes flashing lightly.

A ladybug hovered past Luckyspots nose and almost distracted him.
"Oh, I'm Luckyspots," he replied. "Nice to meet ya."
He took a step toward Fallingbird to see what she would do. He thought she looked a bit startled at his appearance.

As he leaned in she leaned back. She wouldnt get any closer. Taking a deep breath she breathed. "Yes...nice to meet you too..." She glanced at his legs to make sure he only had four.
"So... you like ladybugs?" she had watched as his gaze rested on the flittering ladybug a bit too long. "Its good some one does cuse i dont like them... they weird me out..." She stpped on another

He backed off a little with a smile.
"But they're so cute! And they look just like me, like little mini-me's."
He watched as little black and red dots crawled around the rock. He had never seen so many ladybugs in one place.
"Some people say they're lucky."

Fallingbird cringed... "Oh but they creep and crawl and..."she laughed lightly. "So if they are like you and they are lucky...does that mean your lucky?" The thought had merrit... "Hmm...so if your lucky that would make you top wanted cat around here... you could probably make all the water come back..."
With a flick of her tail she sat pondering this... "Hmmm...come with me..." With that she tore off toward the thunderpath

Before Luckyspots could say anything, Fallingbird was off running in some direction. Curiosity forced him to follow, although he didn't really have anything better to do anyway.
I wonder what she's up to? I may be lucky, but I'm not a miracle worker.

She stopped by the thunderpath and waited for him. "Ok...we are going to see if you are actually lucky." She was looking at the road. A few monsters rumbled by and she let the wind whip her fur around. "Im going to walk....across thunderpath...if your lucky...i wont get hit." Ok so it wasnt the best logic....but it worked...she could see is she had the corage enough to walk across thunderpath... That was a positive. Another monster rummbled by

"Wha? That's the most mouse-brained thing I ever heard of!"
What was that going to prove? That Luckyspots was lucky?
He didn't want to watch Fallingbird be crazy, so he started scratching drawings in the the dirt.

Fallingbird smiled. "Not even going to try and stop me..."She smirked...the only way a monster wouldnt get her would be if she didnt go... "Nope...your not lucky..." She twitched her tail and sat next to him..."Watcha drawing?"

How am I not lucky? Luckyspots thought, but didn't say anything.
He intended to draw a ladybug, but his clumsy claws made the drawing look like a mess.
"Oh nothing," he replied.
He pawed some dirt over the scribble, but now he was bored.
"So do you want to do anything that doesn't involve the stinky thunderpath?"

FallingBird Frowned. "Well...We could go watch the ladybugs... Make sure they dont invade WindbugClan...." She smiled. Ok so the way to amuse him was with ladybugs.... She could deal with crawly bugs if that gave her some one to talk to... She smiled and turned heading back for ladybug rock....
She stared at the rock...It was swarmed even more ladybugs were there... Ok so maybe she couldnt handle it...she took a quick step back and frowned. "It is beyond hope... they are gone..."
