Almas was rather enjoying the job that was showing the children to the place to meet their parents but today was a little different... well it would be were it any other angel that they were meeting up with. Some of the others might not like the idea of seeing the face of a Fallen. Hyacinth was special though, he was sweet and gentle and would forgive anyone of anything.

The Fallen was waiting outside of the seven of seven lab, looking out toward the front gate that was open because they were awaiting the arrival of one of the children. His name was Devan it said, a mix of Patience and Envy if he recalled correctly.

He should be an interesting one to meet Almas thought to himself.

"Momma, what'sa 'virtue'?" Devan asked his parent as his he kept his tail around her leg, keeping behind her the best it would allow. He didn't like this place but he was interested in knowing what was going on. Unlike the other kids, he had forgiven the techs for their misgivings.

"Its... uh a good thing..." She answered, unsure of how to explain. "Its... like seven of the best things in the world? I don't know." She gave a hopeless shrug. "Its a weird human concept." She paused as she saw Almas and bared her teeth slightly. A silent warning not to mess with her son.

Devan just smiled kindly at the lab tech. He'd forgiven everything that had happen in the labs. He was still shy however and peered out from behind is adopted mother, giving a small wave with his fingers. "Hi..."

"Hmph." D.S. crossed her arms. She didn't trust it. If someone abandoned their kit shouldn't they ignore it? Otherwise it'll be upset about its parents. Still, she was interested in meeting whatever this thing was supposed to be. "What's up?"

Almas turned his gaze toward the pair when they arrived, his one good eye focusing upon the boy that was standing there in front of him. After a moment of inspection he gave them a smile, "Good afternoon." He greeted the pair.

He turned to look at the woman who was gazing at him with an expression he'd grown quite used to and he only continued to smile, "We are going to meet with the Angel of Patience." He told her in response to her question about what was up, "If you will follow me we will head to his room."

"Angel..." Jeniffer looked suspicious. Why would humans keep angels? "So is that the kid's mom or dad?" She asked casually. She didn't care if Devan knew. Why keep his real parents a secret from him when he probably already knew? She followed shoving her hands in her pockets but ever alert and ready to defend her kit

.

Devan trailed after the person and his mother, keeping his spaded tail around her arm. "Hey Mister..." He asks shyly, still keeping by his mother. "What'sa angel?" He was excited about meeting an 'angel'. He hoped they'd be really nice. He as curious about his wings and hoped this one could teach him how to fly. "Are they nice?"

"In a sense." He said, "They are the donors for the Celestial DNA that is then used to create the children." He explained to her, "They are not parents in the sense of carrying the child or birthing them."

He turned to look at Devan then, nodding, "The angels are very kind beings, the one that you are going to meet today is one of the nicest." He told the boy. Hyacinth was only second to the actual Angel of Kindness in his gentle attitude, "They are being on the side of Light, where as the demons are on the side of the Darkness." He explained what an angel was in very simple terms since he was talking to a child.

"That's just weird." She states tilting her head and snorting. So the kids didn't even have proper parents. That was pretty screwed up.

The boy tilted his head. "Side of light and dark?" He asks looking up at his 'mother' for clarification.

"Good and bad." She says with a shrug. There was no real other way to say it. "The one you're meeting is good."

"Oh." He mummers in understanding then smiles at Almas. He looks excited to see the angel though he still keeps himself hidden behind his guardian.

Almas gave a nod before he turned and started to lead the way, the halls were long, winding, and confusing to a newcomer but to Almas they were home. It wasn't long before they reached the wing of the building where the Angels lived. He paused in front of one of the doors and swung the door open for the woman and child, "Come in, he is very nice." He said with a smile.

The one sitting within lifted his head from what he doing, turning his gaze toward the his guests, "Ah, what have we here? More guests?" He asked, sounding both curious and excited about it.

The parent and child stuck close together. The parent tensed, nose twitching, eying everything as if it may attack her charge. The child was calm, walking behind her, still shy but there was a friendly curiousness about him.

He glanced up at his mother then stepped forward toward the man. "Vice nice?" He echoed, hoping that to be the case. As he crept through the door he smiled. "Hi..." He said lifting his fingers up for a tiny wave.

D.S. shuffled in behind him, grunting. "Hey." She gruffly before crossing his arms, looking him up and down curiously. "What are you looking at me for, kid? Go on and talk to the guy."

Devan turned back aground to face the new man and cautiously stepped forward. "I'm Devan! What's your name?"

Hyacinth set his book aside, closing it and gave a soft smile, "Devan, that is a very nice name." He told the boy as he came cautiously forward. The red head enjoyed the visits from the little ones, getting to see the results that came from staying in this place. They were the only up side to this life according to most of the angels, "My name is Hyacinth, like the flower."
