Yep, that's right, ladies. It's another monster thread. If this keeps up, we may need a Crytpozoology thread. Anyway, who's heard the latest on this matter, brought to my attention by my lieutenant recently? Daemon Solivagus Seeing how the Montauk Monster thread took off for a while I think this thread will do well here as well. Apparently some guys in Georgia found the body of bigfoot and kept it frozen in a freezer. They are having it examined now by several types of scientist so the truth of this find should be known soon. I would be surprised if it is real but am excited at the possibility of what it might mean if it is indeed true. It looks pretty fake to me, but who knows. Comments? http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/08/14/bigfoot.body/index.htmlhttp://www.cnn.com/2008/US/08/15/bigfoot.body/index.htmlHere is the video that aired earlier on the news. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/08/15/dcl.mccarthy.bigfoot.cnn Sounds to me like a coupla hillbillies looking for their 15 minutes of fame, but what do you think? Unlike the Montauk monster, these remains are actually being analyzed, so we'll know soon enough.

I'm shocked I didn't hear my fiance's cousin mention this. He's always watching CNN.
The head of the remains in question looks kind of questionable. Like a very high grade movie prop, almost. But who am I to make any calls about it being real or fake? I can't say I know what a frozen body looks like. sweatdrop
But I'm anxious to hear more about it. 3nodding

I really don't think that it's real and I don't even think it's being analyzed...just some hillbillies trying to get famous. They won't let anyone view it or analyze it...they just said that they have their own team of scientists working on it.

Sara told me, in fact, that the results were in and it was a fake, but I haven't verified this. Can anyone else?

But I haven't seen anything else on the remains. The last thing I saw on it was a guy called the Bigfoot Hunter (his real name escapes me) said that he went to Georgia and said that they were actual remains. He explained how the freezer had broke and they tried pouring water into the freezer to make a bigfoot popsicle. They failed. Seeing how it was a frostless freezer. sweatdrop

Liutana double negative. what was the result of the scientific analysis? I don't have reliable information claiming that there even is a result, yet.

According to this article there was an odd tear (I think) on the foot, and it turns out it was a rubber foot. The whole thing is a costume, and the people claiming to have found it admitted it, and have more or less disappeared, from my understanding.

It's on the news right now: It's a gorilla costume. xDD
One of the guys was a cop on sick leave. They're guessing he's on permanent leave now. xD

What an enormous load of s**t. In the end it was exactly as ridiculous as it seemed at the very beginning. Like I said, it's massively shameful that this got to a national news level. I've lost what little faith I had left in the media.

Of course it would be fake. There's no such thing as Bigfoot.
