They were near the gods den, she and her companion, and they were looking for palahala. She needed to find hima nd she knew that heer was the easiest place to find him. She looked back and smiled at Gobo, he looked a little nervous, thoguh he hid it well. he was so prideful.
Gobo paused for a moment before trotting up to stand closer to zebadie "are you sure this is a good idea zebadie? What if Palahalas brother finds us?"
Zebadie Snorted and laughed "HA! i'm not afraid of a cub Gobo, come on, he'll be around here some where We just need to see him, you know I can't leave for any amount of time without telling him. he needs me."

Even if the two klipspringers were looking for her brother, Chuck found it an inconvenience to be woken by them. She rolled around dozily then got to her feet slowly, emerging into the half-light of the den's entrance. There, in shadow as she approached, were these two little creatures, ones she didn't recognise straight away.
"Hullo?" she said, looking blankly at them.

Zebadie stepped forwards, her golden eyes looking at the female cub without any sort of fear what so ever. "We're looking for palahala is he about?" she asked, quite simply, quite cockily, she wasn't afraid of cubs, even god cubs.
Gobo blinked, he often wondered how she could be so brash, this was still a god after all. "We're sorry to desturb you miss, but my companion wishes to speak to palahala. We are going on a short joruney and she wishes for him to know, perhaps you could point us int he right direction?"

Chuck smiled at the mention of her name and her brother's fondness for her. It was true, she probably would never contemplate eating her brother or his immediate friends, at least unless she was in Uhai's company.
"Pala has a herd? Thats great!" she beamed, sounding genuinely happy for her brother. "I 'member going with him to find some others like him." She sounded a little proud, as if to reassure to these two that she wasn't dangerous.
But Gobo's nervousness and fear was a little uncomfortable for Chuck. It was like she could feel it.

"Oh yes, it's only just starting but we are already recruiting quite alot of followers. He figured out he could protect us from predators, keep them out. it's a wonderful place." She beamed, she was clearly eqyually proud of her possition within the herd.
Gobo looked at Chuck and smiled a little, he was still feeling a little nervous, but the little goddess didn't seem to be wanting to hurt them, she seemed almost as placid as palahala was, it made him feel a little less nervous but, he still wanted to be away. Soemthing about this place made him feel uneasy, maybe it was the heavy scent of lion in the area.

"Well, he'll definitely be out grazing I think. We could go together to find if you want," she offered. "I'll act as temporary protector until we find him."
Chuck was being most helpful indeed and feeling quite good. Her own sense of elation and her curiosity about her brother's herd had overidden anything she was picking up from Gobo or Zebadie.

Zebadie smiled at chuck, she could see why Palahala liked this sister. he spoke of ehr quite alot, saying how calming she made him feel. he never really said what her domain was, perhaps it was something to do with prey. She shrugged off the question and nodded "Sounds like a plan." She smiles, giving a quick nod. "We'll follow you, you probably have a betetr idea of his direction."
Gobo chuckled a little, he found it odd that Zebadie was so blahzeh about the gods yet she was always indignant about normal lions. She was an odd one. Swallowing away his fear he stepped towards the little goddess, twitching his little tail.

Gobo's uneasiness was still concerning Chuck a little, but she thought that the sooner they found her brother, the sooner he might relax a little. It was obvious the female wasn't bothered, but he was definitely un-nerved by her presence.
"So, if Pala has a herd...where is he gonna live? Is he gonna stay at home and just come visit you...?"

Zebadie looked to Chuck quietly. "You would have to ask him, I beleive he is going to reside with us when he is older. He is worried about uhai, thinks he will eat him when he is older. He feels safe amongst us and he is always welcome with us. He's our patron." she beams, she always felt so proud of Palahala like he was her own child.
"Something tells hme he will have to leave on occassion, surely he cannot spend all of his wakeing hours without his own kind. he may be more like us than most gods but he is still a god, he needs his own kind occasionally surely." Gobo says catching up to the two females, trying to keep his worry about the little goddess out of his stance. They would be with palahala soon enough.

"Oh thats okay then, when he's older. He can't leave me alone yet, not with everyone else being crazy heads," she laughed in reference to her other siblings.
She led them through some long grass that covered all of them, even with Chuck's naturally larger size from being a god. And then they emerged from it to a small watering hole. But no Pala yet.
"Hmm, he must have gone for the tasty grass, not long now," she said, leading them on a bit further.

Zebadie chuckled. "I'm sure you would be welcome too Chuck. Palahala would welcome you in his valley, as long as you didn't think about hunting anyone. it's a haven for us you see." she smiles hopping towards the watering hole, she took a breath, palahala had been here but he had obviously moved on. he always knew where to find the good tasteing grasses, she admired that about him.
Gobo cleared his throat. "Well, palahala is a very wonderful creatre, he is certainly the best god I have ever met." he chuckled lightly, palahala was also the only god he had ever met, besides this meeting now. "What is your domain little goddess, if you do not mind me asking?"

"Oh I'd love to visit you all," she beamed. "I might have my own herd or group or something to look after when I'm older, but I'll bring them too. I'll make them behave."
There was a little chuckle to herself at her comment. She had only just begun to grasp her own domain, something she had recently been ridiculed for.
"I'm still a bit unsure actually...but I think I help people fit in, be normal...or whatever normal is for them. Something like my mummy. She's obedience."

Zebadie smiled, Obedience, there was a domain thatw as needed, if only she could teach Uhai some bedience, to leave his brother alone. She shrugged the idea away and smiled as she spotted the soft brown backside of the god of prey "palahala!" she called, her voice suddenly far more pleased than it had been a moment before.
The young god lifted his head, he had been about to take a big mouthful of particularily sweet grass when he had heard his name being callwed. he smiled and swallowed quickly, Zebadie, Gobo, Chuck! hey what are you guys doing out here?" he smiled, raising a youthful brow.
Gobo cleared his throat as he clopepd forwards towards Palahala. "I need to return to my daughter Palahala and zebadie wishes to travel with me for a way."

Chuck smiled at her sibling and padded forward after the klipspringers, feeling their need of him greater than hers at this moment in time.
"They came looking for you at the den, which was a brave thing considering Uhai was asleep in there too."

Palahala looked surprised. "You have to be more careful. Uhai won't pause before he attacks." he sighs, he felt guilty, he came home to spend at least a little time with his family and had nearly gotten his friends in to trouble. Turning to Chuck he nuzzles her greatfully "Thankyou for careing for them chuck." he smiles, before turning to Gobo. "yes, Zebadie told me you had an adopted daughter." looking to Zebadie he nods. "Please, come back soon won't you?" his eyes danced happily, he missed Zebadie when she wasn't around.
"I won't be gone for too long Palahala" she whispers nudging the young horned god. she turns to Chuck and bows her head. "thankyou for your assistance miss."
Gobo looked between the two gods and gave a respectful bow before he bounced off with a high, springing leap. "Thankyou for your hospitality palahala, I am sure we will meet again some day!" he smiles, waiting only for a moment for Zebadie to catch him up before they both gallavanted off.

Chuck lifted a paw and clumsily sort of waved at the two little herdbeasts as they galloped off.
"They're really nice," she said to Pala. "I'm so glad you've amde some more friends. And ones that don't seem to afraid of Uhai!" She laughed.
"That female one is either very brave, or very silly."

Palahala chuckled. "She's a bit of both." He nuzzled his sister "Come, lets go back to the den. I have no doubt that Zebadie told you about myherd, you must keep it a secret from uhai though okay? I think I can protect them, but I don't want Uhai to know about them." he felt like he had grown much since finding Zebadie, he was learning alot, and how to be braver was one of them.
he let a yawn cross his lips. "I'll tell you all about it when we wake up. You'll ahve to come and visit." he puurrs, Chuck was the only one of his siblings he would trust around his herd.

"I promise," she said, a little shocked at this duty she was now trusted with. "But I'll bet Uhai would just spend more time around more predators or sumfing."
It was an effort to reassure him, although even she was not sure what her other siblings were capable of. Their sister was harmless and a sweety. But Kinga and Uhai?
"'Kay, if you needs some rest. I'm not feeling too sleepy yet, but we'll see when we get back."

Palahala Nodded and nuzzled his sister, he hoped she could keep the secret. he knew he could hide his lands from normal predators but he had yet to test it against Uhai and he wasn't willing, at least yet, to take up that trial.
