Story...:::...
Modern Day New York, it has it's dark alleys and it has it's crimes...but who really is behind those misterious deaths happening. And all the victums have had no blood and bite marks on their necks.....Innocent humans...or as the vampires call them, normal humans by day, hunters by night are taking down the vampires a couple at a time. But the population of vampires are growing....(( Dun Dun dunnnn...))
Rules.

With the sun slowly sinking behind the tall buildings the shadows cast upon them left the dark places darker and the light ploaces lighter. Dusk looked about him as it got darker and darker. A brisk wind blew through his coat as he continued his walk through the barren street towards his home. That is if you wanted to cal it a home. More like a beaten down appartment, reveged by gangs and the recent up rising of vampire related deaths. Pulling his coat up further up upon himself, his hair flew back with a sudden gust. Looking up he stared at the moon slowly creeping over the city. "..." Dusk opened his mouth but didn't say anything. He felt someone coming towards him.

Amelia sighed walking down the empty street, she was one of the few vampires who didn't kill humans, and she hunted some when they pissed her off. She starts humming 'Row row row your boat', she saw a human guy waling infront of her, she didn't stop as the gust of wind blew her long black hair away from her face as she passed him, smiling up at the moon she nods to him flashing her fangs in greeting, her sword slips on her back and she moves it back. Muttering to him, "Watch your self, others are starting to rise..."

Not turning at all he shot a glance over to where the sound had come from. "Tell me something new." he muttered as he continued his walk towards his appartment. Stopping abruptly as the wind picked up again he looked back."Or perhaps was that your warning for me to be afraid?" he said as he moved his hair back and cracked his knuckles. This wasn't to intimadate however. more like a nervous reaction.

Amelia laughs out loud, finding it hard to control it"No, i was worning you because theres about 30 of them infront of you." she stops laughing pulling her cross bow and arows out she pushes him aside as she shoots the first row down."Their hungry and right now, you look like dinner." she growls and hisses at them, placing her foot on his chest,stay down, they only leave when they know the human their after has already been taken her voice says in his head. When they leave she pulls him up patting his shoulder. "Good luck, i'm going back to my appartment to catch some Zeez." smiling she walks down a street to her appartment. Seeing another gang eyeing her she growls then screams as one bites into her shoulder. "Sleaze bags! get off me!! ok you are so going to be dust!!"

Sighing to himself he continued his walk."I could have done that myself you know." he said lightly even though he knew she couldn't hear him.Stopping outside his beaten down appartment he walked through the broken down doors, the wood underneath him creaking under his weight. Going up the creaking stairs he opened his door and walked inside. without so much as a word he walked over and fell down into the embrace of his couch and thought about what was happening to the city. "What an adverse effect to both species..." he muttered to himself as he waited for sleep to come.

Amelia threw off the vampires and went up to her appartment to grab some more weapons, "time to go elimenate some more vamps." she takes out 3 thrwoing daggers, sighing she heads back out. After she killed 10 more vampires, a demon tackled her from behind. "GET OFF ME!! you are sooo toast buddy!"she screams as he knocked her out.

Glancing over at a the window pane he heard a scream of anger. sighing to himself he walked over and looked down. Seeing an insignifagent struggle he open the window and climbed out onto the fire escape. It creeked and shifted as he leaned over to see what was going on. shaking his head he took out a small bomb and threw it across the street. it landed and made a massive flash. The flash sent them all flying off due to the intensity of the rays. shaking his head he climbed down onto the ground. hopping the fence and onto the street he knelt down next to her. Shaking his head he gave her shoulder a shake. With no response he picked her up and walked towards the entrence. "People nowadays..." he muttered as he made his way up the stairs.

Amelia groaned, she had a weaird feeling like she was floating, she felt like her body was on fire."Damn, what was i hit with? the sun?...oooohhh." she groans feeling herself be set down, "Am i dead yet? becuase i think i'm in heaven, ouch! nope i'm still alive..." she mutteres as she tryes to move.

Setting her down he frowned. why had he helped her..? It didn't occur to him until he had set her down. shaking his head he walked out of the room and into the bathroom to obtain his first aid kit. She was burned and needed to be helped. stopping at the mirror for a moment he noticed a slight red hue. raising an eybrow at the reflection he looked away and took back his pale hue. standing before her once more he opened the kit. "This might hurt a little." he said as he took out the rubbing alchol.

Amelia hissed as the rubbing alchol touched her skin. emidiatly her burned skin started healing, but slowly and painfully. "What did you hit me with anyway?" she looks up at him, her dark eyes going back to normal from a striking blue to their dark brown almost a black. Her burns disappear from her face and no scares are left. "Um..thanks for the help, i'm Amelia by the way. I hunt and kill other vampires, but i hadn't fed so i'm alittle weaker tonight. Now where did i put that vile?" she says pulling out a big vile in her pocket.

Putting the things away, "It was a modified flashbomb made for times like this." Setting the kit onto the ground he looked back to her. Extending a hand "I'm dusk. Pleasure to meet you." despite the warmheartedness of his reply, he was a little drawn back and distant, moreover closing his thoughts to hers.

"Nice to meet you Dusk, and if you hit me with one of those again. Your dinner."she says laughing, standing she dusts herself off looking around. Feeling the rest of the burns disappear she stretches, her eyes turning from a green to a blue to dark brown again. "You know whats odd, is that you are one of the only hunters i've seen who doesn't have emotion." she circled him wondering if he was normal.

Raising an eyebrom his blue eyes scanned her. "Lacking emotion? You could say that living in a place such as this has bleached the emotion from me, leaving me dead and merciless."Sitting down he closed his eyes and thought. Why was she so full of questions? All the while keeping a gaurd up on his mind so as not to be read.

Amelia looked at him curiously, he had to be the most dead/living human she'd seen in years. "Touche`....Remind me not to eat you. you might make me sick. I don't eat the dead." she muttered walking around then hissed as a beem of sun light hit her, going back into the shadows she sits on the floor. Looking around, she could see human auras as a young girl, but what surprised her was that she could see Dusk's. It was like a dark cloud had come over him, with dark blue but somewhere under that she was a viabrent red, yellow amd orange. He wasn't as dead as he thought he was. she smirked at that thought, closing her eyes, as soon as she did she was asleep in seconds.
