Sitting beneath the shade of a tree beside a small field of flowers, Isaac wrote in his journal. He really wasn't sure what to write in it, considering nothing really happened today. After some thought, Isaac did what he normally did when the day seemed uneventful- comment on the sunny weather toward the end of summer.

Iwona was running about after some rabbit through a clearing. She smiled as she chased it, left and right trying to keep up. The sun was beating down on her and there was a soft breeze. Soon, they were running through a patch of flowers, and then it jumped into a hold. She stared at it and pouted.

Isaac looked up as the rabbit ran past, and instinctively looked in the direction it was running from. As he thought, there was Iwona, chasing small animals as normal. She had a pout upon her face that was cute in a child-like way, and gave away that the rabbit had run out of her reach. Waving, he asked, "Rabbit get away?"

Iwona's ears twitched as she heard a familiar voice, and turned towards it to see her friend Isaac sitting there. She nodded as she replied, "Yeah... It got away. I'll get it next time though." The pouts lessened for a second before becoming a large grin. "Hiya Isaac!"

"I'm sure you will." He actually wasn't entirely sure if this was the case. Most of the time it seemed that the animals tended to escape. Still, no use in arguing about something so trivial. "So how are you?" he inquired.

Iwona twirled for a second as she thought, and then looked at him with her bright violet eye. "I think I am doing very good! How're you today?" She asked as she walked over to him at sat down near him.

Isaac smiled, saying, "I'm doing alright. Could be a bit more eventful, but otherwise it's okay." He was always a bit fascinated by her different colored eyes. He didn't know too many namrah who had that trait, and he wondered what life was like for those few. Was there a difference in color perception from one eye color to the other, or was it the same? It was something he'll never know.

"You're bored?" She asked before spacing out for a moment, thinking intently. After a few moments of silence she blinked and ran over to grab his paw and pull him towards the trees behind him. "If you're bored, then we should have some fun! I can even get some of my friends to come ok?"

Isaac was a little surprised when Iwona grabbed his paw, but decided to go with the flow. "Okay." He wondered who her friends were...probably cute little forest creatures. Well, never hurt to kick back and hang out with some animals.

Iwona smiled back at him and pulled him into the forest, her nose twitching and calling all of her squirrel friends to come over. She stopped as five or so sat in front of her, and twitched her nose some more before looking back at Isaac. "They say hello!" she said at she pointed to the squirrels.

Isaac watched in amazement as a group of squirrels came over to greet them. He thought that Iwona just chased small creatures, he never knew that she could communicate with them. "You speak squirrel?" He asked in a half amazed, half confused tone. Then he remembered about being polite and said, "Oh, and tell them I say hello too."

Iwona smiled and nodded happily; she was quite proud of this trait of hers. She looked back to the squirrels and her nose twitched again, and they came over and sat next to where she and Isaac stood. "Are there any games you'd like to play Isaac?" She asked as her gaze when back on him.

"Hmmmm..." Isaac sat back and thought for a moment. He wasn't very active, so tag was out of the question. After a few moment's thought, he had an idea. "Maybe we could go play hide-and-go-seek?" It wasn't really an adult game, but at the moment he really didn't care. Anything to break up the monotony of his life. This was definitely going in his journal.

"ok!" Iwona said happily before pointing at a squirrel with a red tail twitching her nose. The squirrle's nose twitched in response and she looked at Isaac. "He's going to be it ok?" The squirrel ran over to the tree and burrowed his face in his tail. "Quick, hide!" she said before running off.

Isaac quickly ran off to find a good place to hide from a squirrel. After some time of searching, he found a good place between some rocks. Crouching down, he waited for the squirrel to come.
