The high trees of the Mountain forests did little to cool the small creature. His wings twitched slightly against his body as he trudged, slowly, casually up the inclined path, thoughts ringing through his head. The higher you go in these places, the cooler it gets.. His golden eyes narrowed slightly as he scoffed. How does that make any bit of sense? You'd think it get hotter if you went Up... You'd be closer to the sun!
Lo'larox sighed, shaking his head low, pausing in his step.
He felt a breeze whip through the growing mountainous ground, and couldn't help but to shiver.
A cold breeze, in the summer.
His brows raised a bit.
It is getting colder up here...
Oddly, the male smiled, though it was a dim smile,.. for Lo'larox, that was saying something.
He started again, trying to ignore how sore his paws were beginning to hurt.
He'd come from the Beaches, hating the heat, seeking cold Salvation.. something to remind him of his favorite time of year. Winter. His time, by how he saw it.
So still, he trudged on and up, oddly seeming to relax more and more, the colder it got.
Though still... those few cold breezes seemed few now, and still the sun beat through the trees.
He wouldn't find any truly cold spot for quite a while.
