Personally, I believe his idea was in the right mind but still doesn't give anyone the right to do so. Sure, *shrugs* it would be nice to live in a place with no crime a type of paradise but no kind of place can ever exist. He took on way too much than he could chew. Good idea, bad execution and too bad for him he's basically a criminal himself.

At the beginning I believed he had good intentions. I didn't agree with it but I understood it. But during his battle with L he cared about not getting caught more than creating a new world.

Basically, the book really tainted his ideas (as if they weren't on the tainted side already)

I never agreed with Kira/Light. He was wrong from the beginning. Who is he to judge on whats right or wrong, who dies and who lives. Criminal or not, thats not his call. People cant just be granted a crime free paradise or an ultimate power like that. You have to earn it, fight for it, and create it with your own will. Thats what I believe anyway.

I think his plan was very flawed. Just because you are a criminal does not mean you can't change. Some of the worse people in the world aren't even criminals.

Light had good intentions, but he got totally carried away. And although i know that he was trying to be good, i think that he was wrong from the beginning as well. I never really liked him but logically and morally speaking, i believe that he was definately in the wrong. Just because you have the power doesn't mean you should use it.

I believe he definitely had the right idea, but went around doing it the completely wrong way, and in the end it drove him slightly crazy. It was sad to see him get high off of his borrowed power.

I would have to agree with what Hachi said.
Humans have no right to say what is right from wrong. Every single one of us, deep down, are hypocrites. As much as I want to deny it too. But yes, at first, his intentions were good, but it felt as if he was getting carried away by not being noticed... especially when he killed the FBI agents and the wife. She was good. and so were the FBI. Everyone had different views.
Hoho... Kira as god. what a laughable thing
-he writes my name down- -i die-
