Biography: Kanaka is Sumaru's twin sister. When Kanaka and Sumaru were really little their mother, Natsuhi, left the Star village and left them behind. Kanaka never forgave her mother. She stopped trusting. Kanaka stopped believing that her mother would ever come back. They thought she was dead along with their father. Kanaka and Sumaru looked after each other and protected one another. Kanaka can use the ninja art kujaku very well. Better then her brother. When Kanaka was born she was sealed with Ichibi no Shukaku and became a Jinchuuriki for him. Only Sumaru and the Hoshikage know of the Kanaka being a Jinchuuriki. Even ever Kanaka gets upset she sings the Natsuiboshi lullaby.
