They are to the west, along the river to the family tree, before it forks, deep within the Herd Boarders.

The chestnut filly was prancing from her mother's teepee, but with a bright red colt trailing behind her. She flared her little wings out to motion him to pick up the pace. "Oi, ye're gonna make us late. Ah got lots te show ye," she said flicking her flaxen tail behind her. Her mother and "uncle" had asked to show the little (he was younger than her!) guy around, get him familiar with their home and some of the notable places. She was actually finding the task quite boring while her sisters were off on their own adventures.

He gazed all around him with wide pink eyes. Everything was so new to him that he couldn't concentrate on his own hooves and tripped several times. Luckily, after the hundredth time of doing it up here and falling down, he caught his balance.
"Coming." He picked up his pace to catch up with his winged herdmate. He glanced at the feathers on her extra limbs with curiosity. "Dad wings special. Adi wings special. Royce Garnet no wings."

"Oi, dun ye worry 'boot it. Ye're still special. Ye fit righ' in our 'erd. And Ah think Ah see mah Igido up ahead at t'e family tree. Think ye're up fer a race?" She saw him give an enthusiastic nod and they both took off to the family tree.

The brick red filly had been watching a squirrel that had vanished into the depths of the willow's branches, trying to figure out how it was so fast around the tree trunk. It was like it flew all over the place, just zipping from one end of the tree to the other. Now it was just resting contentedly, laying in a crook of two branches too high for her to try and investigate it further, casting glances down toward the filly occasionally as if asking itself if she was gone yet. The squirrel knew she would pounce on it with quite the enthusiastic curiosity if it went down to the ground, so it was hoping she'd grow bored soon enough so he could go on to a tree much further away from little red Soquili. If nothing else exciting distraced 'Woyi, that might not be particularly soon, but the squirrel was in luck.

Just then 'Woyi heard Adi's voice coming closer, heard the poundings of two sets of foal hooves coming closer, and enthusiastically darted out away from the willow's trunk (leaving the squirrel to scamper down the other side and dart away from the filly), peering toward Adi with a bright grin and excited green eyes. Her younger sister was running, but the one she was racing wasn't 'Dihi, like 'Woyi had expected (save for then there might have been more taunting involved). The other foal she saw was a bright pink colt with a very yellow mane, who looked a little...unsteady...on his white hooves. He kinda reminded her of that basket she had seen with her "uncle" Nacio recently. Maybe he was the new baby!

'Woyi watched with excitement as the two foals came charging toward her, jumping up and down a little with her exuberent energy as she waited to see who'd win. It looked to be a fun playtime!

Naturally Tsis'Newadi beat the younger herd member, considering he was still very unstable on his own four hooves. She continued moving to headbutt against her sister's withers. "Oi, Ah thought ye'd be off far-far away."

She turned back then to watch her charge come trotting up to them. At least he wasn't tripping as often as when they first set off. Had she been that clumsy out of the basket? She'd heard of the grace her older sister, Vidia. It was how she got the scar over her eye, or so she'd been told. Her family had told her Vidia was an older version of Tsis'Dihi.

"Royce Garnet, this is mah Igido, sister, Newadi'Woyi. Ye can call 'er 'Woyi fer shor'." He took on a very serious appearance as he stored away the other filly's name in his memory. He saw that both of his playmates had the feathered wings like that great big stallion had when he first came out of the basket. "'Woyi wings 'Adi wings."

"That's right. We've got wings like our Doda." She turned her attention to her sister. "'e just came out of t'e basket t'e other day. Doda was one of the first te see 'im moving around. 'e's got an older sister too, or so Etsi said."

"'Adi, 'Woyi play!" He trotted around the sisters, his tail lifted as high as it would go.

{{Sorry for the delay dear! My exchange student, who is a good friend, just recently arrived from Spain and so life's been crazy}}

Newadi'Woyi giggled when she saw how Adi beat the other colt, remembering her days as a new one just out of the basket. She had (almost, but she cared not to think of the almost) always beat Adi, her littlest sister, since just that small bit of extra time out of her basket had given her much more time to develop her balance and coordinate her legs.

She was momentarily put off-balance, however, when Adi headbutted her withers, but she managed not to collapse and look utterly ridiculous by jumping a bit on her legs and flapping her wings to attempt to right herself. "Nah. Ah saw a squirrel n it was so fast! Ah chased it n watched it in the willow. Don' know where 'Dihi is."

'Woyi smiled as she listened to the little colt's excitement about her and her little sister's wings. "Royce Garnet? It's pretty. Our middle sister don' have wings either but she's twice as pushy because of it." A grin flitted across 'Woyi's face as she thought of the antics of 'Dihi. She always wanted to be the best in everything--a hard feat to come upon when you had three sisters equally determined, but 'Dihi gave them all a run for their money. " 'E 'as an older sister too?" Excitement filled 'Woyi as she thought of another filly--besides her sisters, who knew far too many ways to tease her--that she could explore with. It would be so fun! And "uncle" Nacio had really cool wings, so maybe the sister would have cool wings too!

But then Roy mentioned playing and 'Woyi fluttered her wings in excitement, spinning in place as she tried to keep the pink colt in her field of vision. "We could go explore!" 'Woyi exclaimed enthusiastically, as was always her first choice. "Or maybe play by th' river!" Any sort of play with someone new was always welcome!

[-Sorry I hadn't respond for so long. I couldn't get my muse up enough to make a post. x.x Rehearsal has been draining me.-]

The red filly looked in the direction that her sister had mentioned, watching the willow to see if the fuzzy creature would come out. But alas, the critter was far away from there as his four paws could carry him. The squirrel would have been fun to chase after.

Oh but she had to show Royce around the place. Her spirits faltered for a heartbeat until she heard mention of exploring.
"Yeah! We can do that while I show him the herdlands like Etsi and Adutsi said." Her short tail whipped back and forth in her glee once more. She looked over at her charge.

And he just stared back. He didn't care either way. He just wanted something to do as was evident when he let out a large yawn from just standing there and nodded in answer to some of 'Woyi's questions.
