Kis yawned widely as he trudged across the savanah, not much enjoying the world around him at the moment. He was just... so very bored! Normally when he was all alone he would just find some rock, or tree to play with him. But not even that helped today.
A pouty huff escaped his lips, bright blue hues roaming across the land for anything to catch his interest.
And luckily, something did! A water hole in the distance. There would definitely be creatures at that. And if there weren't some would eventually pass by!
Grinning happily at his discovery, he changed course, taking off at a run to the small rest area. As he drew closer, his pace slowed until he was moving at the careful pace of a hunter, body lowered down under the grass line.
He may be a fool, but he wasn't an idiot! If something saw a lion charging in to the area, it would run away before he got the chance to play with it. So instead, he crept up to the watering hole, peeking out through the grass to see if anything was around.

"Now come on Gobo, why do you stay with thatlion? she would eat you if she thought long enough about it!" A large female klipsprinegr stood at the waters edge, she was clearly arguing with someone, her hooves stamping the ground "Come with me, palahala will look after you!
An equally large male Klipspringer stood before the zebra stripped femme, looking exsasperated "You know I can't do that Zebadie, i raised her virtually, I don't want her to be alone. maybe one day when she doesn't need me any more, but right mow she needs me."
The female shook her head and let out a long sigh "i don't understand you gobo, I really don't"

Large eyes blinked a bit as he looked slowly between the two creatures, listening to their fighting. His head tilted a bit, little black ears flattening back to block out the angry and annoyed sounds.
By the look of it, the girl could use some cheering up. Slowly grining, he crept out of the grass he was hiding in, approaching the one that had been called Zebadie.
Curious eyes glanced over her form as he approached. She was larger than the cub easily, and very pretty. Her tail even looked nice and fluffy!
He couldn't resist the urge as he finally reached her to suddenly leap up, swatting the fluffy tail between his two front paws. A thought passed him, after he did it of course, but truly he hoped she wouldn't blindly start kicking at whatever was behind her. That would be quite unlucky.

Zebadie looked around, then down and raised a brow at the cub. Letting out a quiet grunt she shok her head "You see? Bloody lions! They think they can do anything they want to." Eyeing the cub, golden eyes fixed seveerly ont he youngster "Unless you wish to be trampled I would turn around and go back the way you game!"
Gobo chuckled and looked at the cub, there was a time when he would have reacted equally agressively to cubs, but galanthus had changed things for him. "Now zebadie, don't be mad, it's only a cub, ti can't do us any harm"
Zebadie snorted "now it can't one day it'll grow up and eat us happily though! You need to be more aggressive with these little lions Gobo, if they learn to be afraid of you they are less likely to eat you!

He stared up to the female rather blankly at the threat, slowly tilting his head, looking back and forth between the two as they spoke. So, she didn't like cubs? He just couldn't help himself.
His expression took on an adorable, sad pout, eyes widening even further as he shuffled over to begin nuzzling at the Klippy's leg, letting out a purr.
She couldn't play with him if she didn't like him, so he'd just have to make her like him first.
He was rather offended by her last comment though, stopping mid-nuzzle. " I only eat fish.. " He huffed, looking up to her.

The big brown male let a chuckle roll over his lips and he bent to nudge the cub "Yu'll have to excuse my friend,s he is very klipspringer-pro-active, she beleives we shouldn't be hunted, unfortunately we are.
Zebadie huffed, trying to ignore the cute cubs sweet expression. "if you say so cub, but I am not one to beleive what lions say, they lie and eat us. Just think about it Gobo, you could come to a place wheer these litte beasts wouldn't attack us or anything."
"I am safe with Galanthus Zebadie, I won't be cajoled in to leaving her"

He smiled widely at the nicer Klippy. He could take the easy way out and play with the obviously more lion-friendly one.. But who liked the easy way?
Pouting again, he let go of her hind leg, moving around to the front of her so he could better see her face. His ears perked up as he stared at her, slowly tilting his head from left, to right, before he spoke again.
" You're pretty. " It was said in a thoughtful tone as he examined the creature before him. It was his first time meeting anything like them afterall. Which led to his scond question. " What are you? "

Zebadie sighed and looked down at the cub. She couldn't hate an innocent no matter how hard she tried "Iand my friend hereare Klipspringers, we are a superior race of savannah herd beasts. And we know what you are Lion, so what do you want hmm?"
Gobo shook his head and chuckled at Zebadies lofty tones for the cub and her proclomation, superior? they were food if they didn't have a friendly predator watching over them like he did and ultimately like Zebadie did too, even if she did not want to admit it, her god cared and looked after her not the other way around, or so he thought any way.

He smiled happily when she was finally speaking more normally to him. " I want someone to play with! " Exclaimed the lonely little cub in a happy tone.
His head tilted a bit as he looking up to her, before looking over to her nice freind as well. " Do you wanna play with me? Though I dont know many games.. Do you know any? " He continued on curiously, tail swishing out to wag behind him in a strange way.

Zebadie sighed lightly and shook ehr head. "i really don't have time to play little cub. We are heading to meet a friend of mine and we really don't have time to be messing about. We just paused for a drink."
Gobo leaned down to the little cub. "I'm sorry to say she is right. We must soldier on so that the lady heer will let me go back home. She seems to think me meeting this friend of hers will sway my decision to stay with my lion friend."
