Goldenice2003 (14:55:45): When morning had approached, the female had not been around where she had slept. She left the black lion where he was, stalking off towards a herd of gazelle grazing on the prideland grass. It was a quick hunt, easy seeing as there was a sickly child that lagged behind the hopping herd. Dragging her kill back to the male, she picked on the flesh slightly, waiting for him to wake up. She yawned, watching the sun rise above the horizon, giving the pridelands a orangey glow.

Ondoa Remove (14:58:32): Obi was sleeping, no surprise there really. He did love his sleep and would sleep all day and night if he could. However he did awake much to his dissapointment.

"Ru?" He kinda of half moaned as he raised his head to look about. He was sure she had stayed with him that night. Had he been dreaming again? It was possible, he did that a lot too.

Standing up he shook his body and stretched a little before looking around. Where was she? He was sure she had to be around somewhere. It was then he noticed the herd and sat back down. Typical, she was hunting.


Goldenice2003 (15:02:00):
Her ears heard the slight voice from behind her, but ignored it as she continued to hunt. When she had killed her prey, her golden eyes rimmed with the pink marking turned towards Obi, giving him a smile. With that, she grabbed the deer by the neck, dragging him away from it’s fallen spot, she walked quickly back to the sleeping spot.

”You stayed out here all night with me?” The female asked cautiously. “How come?” It wasn’t like he had too. After all, this male probably had a den of his own on the lands.


Ondoa Remove (15:04:21): Now to answer her question he could have been honest and just said that he had fallen asleep and hadn't realised but he thought he would try and sound a little more like a gentleman, well attempt to anyway.

"I didn't want to leave you by yourself. Nice hunt there!" He smiled adding on the end not wishing to make it sound like she couldn't look after herself or something like that. he really wasn't great with words.


Goldenice2003 (15:07:31): She had been alone most all her left, why should someone start caring over her now? She frowned inwardly, this pride was just all to good, so much better than the rogue lands, at least there where those who cared! She gave a smile to the male, leaning a head on his shoulder as if to say thank you.

At his compliment, she would have blushed if lions had the capability of doing so. “Aww it was nothing. Eat, though, there’s plenty for both of us.” She grinned, pushing the kill towards the male.


Ondoa Remove (15:24:07): Food. The way to a guys stomach that is for sure.

"Thanks!" He dug in to her meal quite happily, the warm meat, oh it was like tasting heaven and he had such wonderful company.

"So you going to stay around now?"


Goldenice2003 (15:28:03):
Go figure her was going to ask her to stay. She sighed, shaking her head. “I don’t know yet.” She loved the lands, no doubt about that, but if she stayed, where was she going to live? By the waterhole? The would be convenient, but other lions of the pride would probably not like her there. “You really want me to stay, don’t you?” She giggled, taking a small bite at the food.


Ondoa Remove (15:29:26): "Sure I do.... You can come stay in my den!" See he had this well thought out. He knew where she could live, he knew everyone would love her and everything. Oh come on it would be without a doubt awesome if she stayed!

"You know you love it here!!"


Goldenice2003 (15:30:42): She shifted her eyes, sighing in defeat. “Alright, I’ll stay.” She grinned. This male was very enthusiastic, and they’d be den mates! So no more living on her own. “Show me your den then?” She had to find where she was going to be living now.


Ondoa Remove (15:32:40): If he were human he may have done some strange actions with his arms and said something along the lines of 'woopee' however he wasn't and was in fact a lion who just smiled so very happy!

"This way then my'lady!" He then headed off in what seemed to be a bit of a random direction. Oh yes this was so good! He would be living with someone, he would have to tell his mother at some point he was sure she would be proud.


Goldenice2003 (15:37:55): She followed the male to the den, surveying the area, taking in certain landmarks that she could remember that they were there. Gazing around, she spotted a den just off in the distance, and guessed that was his. Then again, many dens were sprawled around the pridelands, so really any of those could have been him.


Ondoa Remove (15:41:33): He walked straight to his den and sat outside it. He had only recently moved into it. He wanted to be all on his own and to depend on himself instead of his mother but it was very much home already. It was littered with bones and all sorts, not clean in the slightest. It was in need of a womens touch, clearly!

"This is my home sweet home!" He smiled rather proudly. Happy to at least have somewhere to call his own

Obi chuckled, "Sure. Make yourself at home!" He smiled and went into the den and curled up.

"Its nice and comfortable and it is also nap time! See ya in an hour or so." With a smile on his maw he closed his eyes and allowed himself to slip off into a light sleep. He was happy to have Ru with him now it would make life a lot more iteresting. He had someone to talk to, to live with and to care for. It was perfect.
