Alphabet: 45 sounds


Vowels

U - "oo" in soot
Oi - Japanese oi
Au - "ough" in sought
I - "ee" in see
E - "ay" in say
O - "ew" in sew
Ai - "ai" in aisle
A - "a" in gah
Ö - Swedish ö


Consonants

T - take
S - sit
R - trilled r
N - neat
B - bite
L - little
F - fake
P - plight
M - make
Ch - bach or kite*
D - dog
G - good
Ł - want
Č - chair
Š - shake
Ž - vision

Other

- A ' after a letter shall make it more palatized. [Exceptions: s, r, m, ch, g, p, f, and b.]

- A ` after a letter shall make it more labialized. [Exceptions: ch, g, b, and ł.]

- Each vowel is pronounced, there are no dipthongs or tripthongs.

- * CH is pronounced as the k in kite when it's the first letter of a word, or the going-to future.

I am currently working on a language that is mix between Tibetan, Japanese, Chinese(Mando and Canto) and Swahili!! hehehe random mix yet it sounds beautiful!!

Grammar



Word Order: Primarily OSV. (Object, Subject, Verb)


Plural: For words that end in a vowel; -n
For words that end in a consonant; -en

Interrogatives: They go at the beginning of the sentence.

Noun Phrases: Adjective; Category I adjectives go before the noun
Category II adjectives go after the noun

Determiner; after the noun; before the Category II adjectives

Numeral; After the noun; before the determiner and Category II adjectives

Possessor; before the noun; before the Category I adjectives

Example: (English) I hit the two blue cats at 4 o'clock as I drove my car.
(Category I) At 4 o'clock, blue cat two the I hit, as my car I drove.
(Category II) At 4 o'clock, cat two the blue I hit, as my car I drove.

Tone, Stress and Phonological Constraints

Stress

- Stress usually falls on the last syllable. As for pronouns, stress usually falls on the first syllable.

Phonological Constraints

- The consonant ch can never be preceded by another consonant.
