You're always going through the halls, trying to get to classes, chatting with friends, or whatever.

Jasper walked quickly through the halls, trying to remember the location of his classes for later on. He felt rather detached.
It boggled his mind the size of the school and - coming from a regular public school - the facilities it had. Wales Institute had a Mall, for goodness sake, and he still was amazed, even after three months of attending.
I wish Joshua could see me now... he thought, but regretted it with a sudden pang of realization that Joshua would not be able to register anything around him.
I need to send him another postcard, Jasper noted, feeling a little guilty about not doing it yet this week.
He looked around the halls, noticing that - for a bunch of misfits - the students around him were quite beautiful. Perhaps he was biased, but they were far more appealing than any other students he had ever seen. Maybe because they all had something wrong... just like him.

Squish. Squish. Squish. Squish.
Bear trudged into the halls, a sour expression on his face and his clothes still dripping from his excursion in the pond. He wasn't exactly in a bad mood, per se, his socks were just unpleasantly wet. He was very eager to go up to his dorm, change into some warm clothes, and possibly have a lie-down. Perhaps he would read Wuthering Heights again. That had been his girl's favorite. He set eye on another boy in the hall and felt his face go red; he had been hoping there was no one in there to see him like this.

Jasper smirked. He hadn't seen someone look so bad since... himself. When the quarterback had given him a swirly.
Jasper started forward and asked, "What happened to you? You okay, man?"

Bear's head bobbed up from where it had been aimed at his trainers and eyed the boy apprehensively. He wasn't too trusting of his own gender. Not anymore. "Yeah man, I'm okay, t'anks," he said quietly, though he made no move to keep walking. He was glad his hands were in his pockets, because they were shaking out of simple instinct. "I just had a run-in with...well, the pond."

"Did you win that fight?" Jasper grinned, although he was very nervous. He was so very awkward in all social situations... and numb, as well. But he kept on, determined not to isolate himself from the world. "Because I'd hate to see what the pond looks like if you did."

Katherine was running through the halls now, though she was slowing down. Blood was dripping down the hall behind her. She didn't know why she was so desperate to keep living. Maybe it was for that slim chance and hope that she would find someone someday who would accept and love her, however small that chance was. All she knew now was that she was losing too much blood, and she was afraid to die. She had cut a jagged deep line into her arm, much like the ones that already adorned her arms. However, with no bandages or antiseptic, she was in a bind. Her vision was already starting to get blurry as she ran through the halls. She saw the two boys that were in the middle of the hall, about thirty feet in front of her. However, by the time she had gotten near them, her vision had blurred so badly, she ended up ramming straight into the two of them and collapsed to the ground, her blood smearing onto the ground, dripping as she struggled to get back up. She needed something. She didn't care. She would dump salt onto her wounds if she had to, just to stop the bleeding. She was in such a weird emotional state, it was quite obvious.

As soon as Jasper's words had sounded, a sliding-skidding sound tore through the halls. The sight of blood made him almost faint, sending flashbacks of his best friend's face on that night.
Somehow, he felt himself regain his composure and bending over to examine the girl. She seemed to be near unconciousness... if she wasn't already, that is.
With a jolt, he saw her arm and let out a strangled yell: "Help me get her to a doctor... or something! Quick!"

Bear had been smiling, nearly laughing, at the boy's joke, but suddenly things were moving too fast and there was blood on the tile floor, and the girl who had been so nice to him outside was among the blood and the boy was shouting.
All Bear could see for a moment was the huge, gaping hole in his Girl's head as they were propelled back into the stairs, his own blood seeping from the would in his head onto the floor, his fellow students falling one-by-one as his best friend shot them down. He heard the gunshots echoing, through time and space, until he could also hear his Girl whimpering "Bear" in his ear again.
With a strangled cry Bear staggered backward into the wall, his chest heaving with diagnosed Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder hyperventilation.
What are you doing!? he thought, then pushed off the wall and ran for the nurse's office.

Jasper could see demons worse than his on the face of the boy accompanying him. But he did not have time to look or ponder what they were. Instead, as the other boy pelted off towards the nurse's office, Jasper struggled to get the girl into his arms and lift her towards the direction he had headed.

Katherine vaguely felt a feeling of being lifted off of the ground and being carried. She wasn't all too sure. She fell into a semi state of unconsciousness, unconscious in Jasper's arms as he ran with her to the infirmary.

Hibiki was walking through the halls of a building to get to his dorm, when he saw blood. A gigantic smear of it on the floor, then droplets leading to the smear. His eyes widened, and his breathing quickened. He remembered what had happened to his mother at his dad's hand, and he gasped.
Images hit his head vividly. The blood, his mother's dead body. Him stabbing his own father. They overwhelmed him, and he immediately fell to his knees, head in his hands as he desperately tried to remove himself from the flashback.

Lena, who had been twenty feet ahead of Beaky (using the blood as ink to draw on the walls), suddenly looked back and felt her amused face fall. She shook her head. "Poor sod," she muttered to herself.
There had been no blood when Dean had died. Only a charred corpse and the haunting echoes of his final moments ringing in her ears with an alarming permanence. This was why she usually spoke without any thought; there wasn't much room for rational thought with all those screams filling her up.
She strode over to Beaky and stood over him, arms akimbo and blood still clinging to her fingertips. "Beaky, are you going to pass out?" she asked as casually as if she were asking about the weather. "Because I'm in no shape to carry you all the way to Infirmary."

Hibiki took a few deep breathes, trying to calm down as he slowly pulled out of the flashback. He blinked a lot, trying to bring himself out of the past and back into the present. He heard the last few words that Lena said to him, and he brought himself back fully.
"No, I'll be fine..Just give me a minute." He said as he shook his head gently.

Jasper stepped out of the infirmary and looked down the hallway where he and the wet dude had been talking moments earlier. His eyes first noticed a cute flower and some hearts grotesquely drawn in the bleeding girl's blood. That struck him odd.
Then, he saw that he wasn't alone in the hallway. And, looking at the other two people present, he was again taken off guard at how beautiful everone in this school was...
despite their problems, he thought as he noticed the blood on the girl's fingers.
And the boy didn't look too good. He walked toward them, shuffling his feet and staring at the ground. He wasn't sure that he could provoke any more social interaction today, after what happened the last time he tried to have a friendly chat here.
