I guess even an '03 member can learn something. When it comes to fishing, I am far from serious. When I get free bait, I would either sell it off for 12 gold or head on down to Bass'ken with my basic rod and use it, but the other day, less than a week ago, probably, I decided to try Durem. I was amazed at the level of challenge I encountered there and just gave up before long, acting on a tip there that Gambino was easier than Durem, but harder than Bass'ken...Because I honestly didn't know. Anyway, I had since bought an upgraded basic rod, and gone back to Durem...It still took me a long time, but eventually I managed to go through another bucket of grade F (this one I actually went so far as to pay for) and some of them were talking. I was in for a more enlightening discussion than I had been part of for some time (which is somewhat sad considering how often I go to ED). The Lionback, The Basterd, and other rare fish, the fact that it's impossible to catch most things with a basic rod, the theory that the distance rod was best for catching rare fish...I didn't know any of it. What about the rest of you? Am I the only one that this is news to? If you had heard it before, I could use some confirmation of these things.

I don't think I've ever bought a single bag of bait, nor a single token for that matter.
I used to only use my strength rod until a friend who decided to quit gave me his distance rod. I've yet to upgrade it, but I think it can wait until I've got a bit more gold. ^^''
Though, currently, I'm a bit frustrated with Fishing. I spent forever trying to fill my bucket and once I had done so, I discovered that when you go to type in the confirmation words, the cursor would appear back in the chatlog.
= 3='' I had 3 bluestones, a black roque, some pebbos and tires. So much for that.

I asked the guys in Durem; that happens to everyone. I thought I was the only one that had to use the copy and paste function, but it looks like thats the case for everyone. I was just glad that it happened to occur to me the first time and that I didn't lose any fish to it.

I really should do more fishing. The game I play most would have to be Puzzles. Pinball is good when I have the patience, though.

Oh, speaking of, does anyone else know how to unlock Von Helson mode? I've done it several times, but I've still no idea how.

That's done by spelling out the word Gaia.
A letter is lit up after destroying and repairing the manor.

A letter is lit up after destroying and repairing the manor. Really? You're sure that's all? I mean I've unlocked that mode plenty of times, but if that cycle was needed only four times I would have thought it would have occurred more frequently. That's really all that's involved?

Huh. Rather surprising. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. You might want to consider posting your high score in the pinball forum. If you've figured that out, I'm sure you must've earned some pretty impressive ones.
