Everyone's thoughts?
It looked a lot like Gaia is integrating a more social network feel into the site. Personally, I like that a lot.

The design itself only irks me because I know there will be less of the Daily Chance to take advantage of, but as for the social network idea, I dunno how much I like the idea itself, but I'll wait until I see the execution before I start bitching.

I'm excited about it! I don't really like the structure of the menubars and stuff, and apparently they're making them better.

Matasoga The design itself only irks me because I know there will be less of the Daily Chance to take advantage of, but as for the social network idea, I dunno how much I like the idea itself, but I'll wait until I see the execution before I start bitching. I pretty much feel the same way about it. Though they did say that they did realize this new design means fewer daily chances and are going to 'beef it up' to make up for it.

I saw that, but what I want most out of the daily chance is gold. They might put more variety into it, but that variety may not actually enhance monetary gain...I dunno. We'll just see how things work out. In this instance, I think I might like leaving well enough alone and reaping the benefits rather than embracing vague and unelaborated promises of subjective improvement.

I never would have thought of the daily chance thing, you have a point, less pages is less stuff.
There really cheap, mabye thats why there making this new page idea, so they have to give out less stuff. burning_eyes

Whoa, I just realized how much crap they're planning on sticking on this new Mygaia page.
Like which friends purchased MCs, their recent posts, who they've befriended and how many comments they or their journal entries have received.
= / Why do I need to know this stuff?
If I really wanted to know, I could just look at the profile.
Or...
I could talk to them and ask them myself! =o -hand to mouth-
Honestly, the only thing I couldn't find out on my own would be that 'Lanzer recommends you purchase ...' thing. Though, in my opinion, that's just a way to place a bit more inflation on particular items.

Only the most patheic of Lanzer fangirls would actually buy into that. I mean people are sheep, but even so, there is zero motivation. I do admit that it is kind of interesting to know that much about what everyone else is up to. It does make me feel more like I am connected to a community...Just how the Gaia toolbar makes me feel more hooked up to things and people. If you don't like it, the page is easy enough to avoid.

I would have to agree with Josh. I think the reason I'm intrigued with seeing how the new myGaia is going to pan out is because that's what is missing from Gaia right now, at least for me. I don't feel included, I feel lost in this huge site. So, if myGaia can bring that inclusion via a more social free such as that on social networking sites, I'm in utter agreement with it. : )

Less Daily Chances is going to be annoying. Especially since I just found out last night that I could get a lot more than I was getting - _ - Thanks again for telling me that Mata ^_^
I would also like to note that if any of you have tips for me they'd be much appreciated ^_^ I don't know much about Gaia yet sad (I'm sorry if I should have made another post for this, or if there is already one)
