The Manor, home of Linaia, Aelus and their soon-to-be children is owned by the Siri family.
Following Linaia's father disowning her for doing such a disservice to the family as to marry Aelus, and become pregnant with his children, they stay there thanks to the now Siri heir presumptive, Lady Naita.
Though not eligible to inherit her father's title, all lands and funds in the Siri names now fall to Lady Naita, and it is in such a state that our tale unfolds.
On the heads of these children will the dramas of this building unfold.
The Manor's current house staff are:
Riife- butler.
Elsa- Lady Naita's personal maid.
Three maids.
One cook.
Two under-cooks.
One kitchen hand.
One stable master.
One groom.
One man-servant.

Birthdate: March 17th.
Marital status: Married
Loves: Aelus, her remaining sibling, history, the family library.
Hates: Political matches, public speaking or appearances of any kind.
Fears: Death of loved ones.
Personality: Linaia's quiet, calm nature was blessed with kindness from childhood.
The passing of her mother is barely a spec in Linaia's memory, as the Duchess was forever at court, and her wetnurse was by far the guiding force of her early years.
When the younger half-siblings, Naita and Elsius, were born, Linaia took to mothering them, spoiling them until they, too, left to make their mark on court.
Linaia, of course, had had her turn in the whirling, colourful world of political pacts and scandals, but her nature meant that she had by no means thrived, and retired to the country home of her father.

Forever trying to make up for some remembered sin of the past, Aelus seeks to redeem himself.

 Lady Naita Siri
Linaia's half sister, and owner of The Manor.
Lady Siri's fortune is what the growing Linquas family essentially live off, and though occasionally jealous of Linaia, she is an indulgent sister, friend, and aunt.
 Ceiba
Ceiba, Lady Siri's second ward, is a quiet child, generally holed up in the library of The Manor, devouring a book.
 Breena
Breena, perhaps the most dangerous of Lady Siri's wards.
In her short lifetime (of sorts) Breena has set fire to a maid, driven a woman half out of her wits, and caused unknown numbers of tearful fits.
 Eydis
Lady Siri's first ward, a child born of a book, inexplicably enough, Eydis is Breena's prime victim, and there is a silent war being waged between the pair.
