Pembe
The sun was just getting up over the horizon. Pale blue eyes were gazing up at the sky as Pembe'juhi was just stretched out on the ground. His tail flicked gently behind him as his ears flicked back and forth. With the start of a new day, he felt excited about the prospects of what this day could bring. The pink male stretched slightly as he yawned softly.
Sina
Sinasina was roaming the lands as usual, head pointed towards the ground as she mused over what was going to happen to her. It didn't matter how many time the sun rose and fell, she still wondered about that day. That lion. Now there wasa good chance she would have his cubs. Children. And she knew exactly what she would do with them; she would probably either leave them to die or dump them on some unsuspecting "friend". All she needed was to find some friends. So busy thinking, the female didn't notice the lump of pink lion lying in front of her. Not until her front paw made contact with his fur. Gasping, she sprang back, fur on the back of her neck climbing in her fear.
Pembe
Not paying any attention to his surroundings, Pembe was lost in thought. His mind wandered off onto things that made no sense but to himself. Before his mind could get too far lost, he was stirred from his reverie at the feeling of something brushed into him. Surprised, his eyes widen as his gaze shifted from the sky to the black leopardess right next to him. He looked her over, "Are you ok?"
Sina
After a moment, Sinasina found it in herself to speak again, a deep breath all she needed. "Yes," she replied softly, "I'm alright. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to mess up your pretty coat with my mucky paw print," she said lightly, putting on her mastered smile. An expression she used to easily mask any and all thoughts floating about in her mind. "What are you doing lying out in the open like this? I don't mean to butt into your thoughts... just curious."
Pembe
As he raised himself, Pembe smiled gently at the leopardess, "Oh please, don't worry about it. I'm not afraid to get dirty, it comes with being a rogue afterall." He shook his head, not at all caring if his fur was a bit dirty. Afterall, did it not bring another friend to him then? Perhaps his bright coat was good afterall, he mused. At her question, he gave her a lop-sided grin, "Just getting lost in thought, really. I was trying to decide what to do today, since I don't know?" He answered honestly.
Sina
Nodding, the female dropped the matter. In truth, she really wasn't that upset about getting his fur a little messy. She was more concerned with her own thoughts than his coat. But she couldn't be rude to this lion simply because she had a lot on her mind. What would he think of her if she acted in such an uncivil manner? She nodded along, content to take her mind off things with some conversation. "I can understand that," she replied, "the getting lost in thought, I mean. I was doing the exact same thing before crashing into you."
Pembe
When the female replied, Pembe took note of how slightly detached she seemed. Perhaps she had more on her mind than he did! He wasn't one to pry into other's businesses. He brushed the thoughts away gently before he blinked, he should introduce himself. "I'm Pembe'juhi. But please, call me Pembe." He nodded before tilting his head slightly, "Are you from around here? I haven't seen many other around here in quite a while. So this is surely a nice surprise!"
Sina
"Pembe?" repeated the lady, "that's a nice name. I think it's cute," she giggled lightly, watching him was a smile. If she didn't have so much to think about, she probably would have started putting the moves on him already. But, no, she needed to keep away from mating. That was what got her into this mess in the first place. "No, not really from around this particular area. I just like to travel. My usual thinking spot wasn't offering me any help so here I am," she looked him over, before adding, "oh, and my name is Sinasina. It doesn't really lend itself to a nickname though."
