(this is just a piece of it, its a work in progress)
The demon glared at the angel with all the hatred he could muster, blood pouring from his wounds. The angel picked up his now bloodied sword and held it steadily, even though his body shook from the loss of blood. It had been a long battle, but the angel had won. Or so he thought. In the blink of an eye, the demon pounced at the angel, tearing it in two. As the angel's halves fell to the ground, the demon fell to his knees. The master would come for him. The master would save him, then they would destroy the world together. As his evil laughs filled the night air, he would slowly make his way to his feet and stumble to a fountain. Now that the demons had the lead, he was able to affect things in the human world. It had been centuries since he had drunken anything. And it was so damn hot in hell, he was always parched. He drank his fill and slumped to the ground, letting his ice sword evaporate into thin air. He was a demon of ice. An unusual element for a demon. He closed his eyes to try and get some rest, as soon as master came, he would no doubt be sent back to work. There was a small sound coming from the undergrowth to his left. He opened one eye and looked over at it. His other eye flew open almost immediately as one of heaven's strongest soldiers stepped out into the clearing. The demon cursed loudly as he called his sword back into existence. The angel pulled out a dagger and put on a wicked grin as lightning spouted from the handle. The angel charged first, letting out some sort of war cry. The demon shouted as his wounds flared with pain when he side stepped and attacked the angel from behind. He managed to slice through the angel's skin, but the angel was so powerful that he was blown back a few feet. The demon crumpled to his knees as the angel slowly walked over to him. "You will not survive this one, demon." was all the angel said before he swiped at the demons head. A statues head fell to the ground and shattered to pieces. The angel stared at the broken statue in shock, then he fell to his knees as an ice sword protruded from his chest. "Soon the ice will envelope you completely, and you will die." He said into the angel's ear. The angel looked at his legs, now immobile, and snarled. "But...how?" The angel asked, his breath coming harder as the ice crept through his body. The demon gave a wicked grin. "My domain is in the shadows." it said before it ripped the sword out. The angel fell to the ground and shattered into hundreds of pieces.
