Felix sat on a large, smooth rock in the middle of a windy field. He was thinking about Sofiel, the angelic he had fallen in love with. He sighed, wishing she was here. The sky was a clear blue, and the warm summer breeze made him want to take flight.

Sofiel was flying high, she was happier than she had ever been and she had alwyas been pretty happy. She was in love and that set wings on flight. She looked for a famaliar coloring and saw what she was looking for on a smooth rock. She few down next to him with a smile, "Hi Felix!"

Felix smiled back at Sofiel; she always looked so optimistic and graceful. "Hi, Sofiel," he murmured. "It's a nice day, isn't it?" he asked, starting to groom her fur gently.

Sofiel smiled brightly back at Felix. "It's sure is, especially now that I found you." She nuzzled his side and sighed a happy sigh. "Do you want to do something fun today?" She had a plan and wanted to see if it would work.

Felix purred as she rubbed against his side, thinking about what to do when she asked a question. "Sure," he replied, shrugging carefreely. "Do you have something specific in mind?" he asked, catching a mischevious glint in her eyes.

Sofiel nodded, "Yup, I was thinking that today is a good day to fly." She rubbed his head with hers and then let her tail slide down his side, "Would you like to fly with me?"

Felix's eyes widened as she told him her idea. "That's great! I mena, sure, I'd love to fly with you! But I don't have wings..." he added doubtfully. He twined his tail with hers, unsure of what to to.

Sofiel smiled as she knew he would say that, "Well, I did think of that. I could try to carry you." She didn't figure he would be that heavy and she really wanted to fly with him. "Unless you have a better idea?"

"Oh." Felix didn't think of that before. "No, I don't," he added hastily. "I hope I'm not too heavy," he murmured.

"I doubt it." Sofiel said with a smile. She then opened her arms so he could wrap himself around her. "We won't go far, unless you want to."

Felix slowly placed his paws on her back and slowly wrapped his arms around her, avoiding her wings. "I guess we can go far, if that's ok." He really wanted to see what it felt like to fly, but he didn't want to tire Sofiel out.

Sofiel smiled as she wrapped her arms around Felix and flapped her wings. "Ready, because here we go!" With that they were up in the air, it was harder than normal with the extra weight, but not too bad. "So?" She asked as they flew over the treetops.

Felix could see miles from up there, and his eyes glowed with excitement. "It's beautiful," he breathed, almost unable to believe it. Woodlands rolled by, and he soon spotted a majestic mountain in the distance. For some reason it looked familiar, but he oouldn't exactly remember why.

Sofeil smiled, she was so glad to show him what she saw when she flew, how beautiful it really was from the sky. "If you see anywhere you want to go tell me." She was willing to land anywhere. Sofeil kept her grip on Felix, but the weigth wasn't too bad yet.

"Would you mind landing on that mountain over there?" he asked, a little unsure why he wanted to go there. "I think there's something important there, but I can't remember why..."
