Gregory has danced his way home yesterday night so excited, and so...in love. He was so gleeful like a little foal. Gregory has met the most wonderful mare yesterday by chance or fate maybe either way he was....was well he couldnt think of any more words other than excited and gleeful...happy maybe but that seemed to plain. So this morning he had gotten up and had his human make sure he didn't have any stray leaves or twigs in his mane or tail and set off to the tree line of the forest to meet Taja. He sighed happily and waited for her

Taja preened abit at her hair and making sure it was in order and then headed off to to meet Gregory. She was so excited to see him again. Her heart was racing as she ran as fast as she could to the edge of the forest. When she had seen Gregory there she couldn't help but smile. Taja slowed down to a walk as she got close, and then nuzzled him softly. "Hello Greg." Taja said with a smile. "How have you been since yesterday?" she asked curiously.

He couldn't help smiling his big goofy idiot smile as he saw Taja appear, he walked forward to meet her and nuzzled her.
"I've been very good" he smiled
"No scratch that I've never been better in my life" he reared up a little and sighed happily.
"How are you, your mane looks exceptionally nice today" he added then tugged on a lock of her hair. Gregory looked her over and nuzzled here again glad to be in her presence.
"Are you ready to go? it's a bit of a walk but there are plenty of nice little stops on the way." he nodded his head towards the path.

Taja smiled and returned his nuzzling. "I'm very glad to hear that, and thank you. I think yours looks well today too!" she said as a smile crossed her muzzle. "Yep, All ready!" Taja replied as she looked around then back at Gregory.

He gave his mane a little shake and smiled then joked to Taja
"I know I do look pretty darn good today" e flashed his big goofy grin then nudged her gently.
"Ok lets go then" and he took of at a slow comfortable pace. As they started their way up into the forest Gregory pointed out all the pretty or interesting plants that Amadahy had found or pointed out to him. Gregory was thankful that he had been paying attention.
"I'm glad it has not gotten hot yet, making this trip when it's blazing out is not fun trust me" he rolled his eyes and smiled.

Taja laughed and nuzzled him. "I'm glad too. Heat can sometimes be bad." she said with a smile. "These plants are amazing!" she said happily as she followed him. Taja moved her mane alittle out of her face so that she could see where they were going and all the little details. "How was your night?" she asked curiously.

Gregory couldn't help but smile as they walked
"Yes there are all kinds of great flowers and cool looking plants through here" he stopped to show her some dainty little creme colored flowers.
"Don't eat them tho they are really bitter" he stuck his tongue out and squeezed his eyes closed. Gregory playfully nipped at her mane then answered her question.
"I slept pretty well..once I fell asleep, I was too excited" he smiled as he lead her past some pretty fern like plants.

Taja smiled and laughed. "I'm glad that you slept pretty well. I was excited too!" she said nipping back at his mane and running around alittle. "I won't eat them!" Taja said with a smile as she stopped and looked at him fondly. "I missed you." she said wondering what he would say to what she had said.

Looking down for just a moment Gregory looked to her his eyes flashing a smile.
"I missed you too Taja" he chuckled a little.
"I slept well but not much, I couldn't wait to see you again." he told her feeling a flutter of nerves in his stomach but was mostly comfortable telling her this. As they made their way deeper into the woods, Gregory became a little quiet but had a smile on his face. He held aside tree limbs for Taja. Gregory stopped them by a small trickling brooke to get a drink, and to find some of those purple flowers, this was where they usually were.

Taja smiled back at Gregory and went up to the brooke edge and put her head down for a drink. She watched him move around, he seemed like he was looking for something. Taja thought for a few moments of what it could be but then shrugged it off. She lifted her head and walked over to a tree and laid down. Taja continued to watch him.

Greg grunted as he had to really dig and scrounge around to find the tasty flowers, but he was determined to find some for Taja. His heart was happy as he thought of how she would love the treat...if he could find them.
A little more searching and he gently picked a clump of them and carried them over to her.
"I fwound dem Twaja hewer you go" he set them tenderly next to her his face streaked with dirt and stray leaves poking out in his mane. Shaking his head and neck he sent them flying to the ground.

Taja smiled at Gregory happily. "You are so kind to get yourself all dirty and ruffed up for me." She laughed as she gently nuzzled him. Taja walked over to where he had been digging and waited. "You should join me." She said as a smile crossed her muzzle.

Gregory stood tall and proud as Taja praised him.
"Ehh you can always get clean later no big deal" he smiled as the mare nuzzled him. He moved quickly over to her and smiled with a michevious grin on his face.
"Join you in a snack or..getting dirty" he laughed and rubbed her shoulder with his dirt smudged forehead. Gregory laughed a loud and joyful sound.

Taja laughed and nuzzled him after he was done rubbing his dirty muzzle on her shoulder causing herself to get muddy. "I guess this getting dirty thing isn't so bad." Taja said playfully as she kicked mud on him with her back hoof. "Ecspecially when I am the one causing you to get so dirty. She said with a large smile. Taja quickly ran to the other side of the mud and braced herself. She was waiting for him to kick some mud back in her direction, or something surprising.

Gregory mimed being upset that Taja smeared more mud on him.
"You got my beautiful legs aaalll muddy" he let out a heavy dramatic sigh something he had seen an overly dramatic human woman do before,
"Now you're gonna get it missy" Gregory smiled and flicked his ears as she ran to the other side of the mud. He acted all calm and hummed as he bent down to get a drink from the brook. Still humming, with more difficulty Gregory turned slightly away his mouth full of water and his gargle humming. Greg waited and waited......then suprise attacked! He tried to spit most of the water at Taja but between laughing and his horrible aim he didn't due much.
