 Marshall was stalking a butterfly, not that he was gunna try to catch it, that would make him dirty, he would have to sweat to try and get the little booger, right now he was just following it. There wasn't anyone around where he was so he had to occupy his mind with something, and the only thing he found was this largish Yellow and Black butterfly that had flown past him a while ago flapping its wings like it had no care in the world, and Marshall had his mind out to get it, or something, he wasn't quiet sure yet.
After stalking it for some time Marshall had made his decision, " I'm gunna getcha" He told the butterfly getting very low to the ground as the insect landed on a flower not to far from him, wiggling his butt gettign ready to pounce on the bug he warned it one more time, " your not gunna taste another flower ever again" He said to the helpless creature before launching himself into the air to land on the creature and eat it, thats what he planned on doing with the stupid thing once he caught it.

 Rocking back and forth on a screeching old swing set slowly passed the time. It had been a while now that Aiden had sat on that blue plastic swing and quiet honestly his butt was starting to get sore. Hoping off with a final screech of the chains holding the seat up, he picked up his multicolored friend. A stuffed beta fish he was pretty fond of. After taking his fishy pal in arms he walked over to the grassy area of the park. The tan bark was never really one of his favorite things of the park. It always ended up hurting him when he fell down. He never understood why they put bark instead of something less painful, like sand or grass.
At last, he made it to the perfect patch of green and took his seat, folding his legs indian style and placing his fish between his legs so that he could look out and see what was around them. He treated his stuffed animal as if it were alive. It was his best friend after all. Looking around, he never really thought of what to do once he had sat down. It seemed rather pointless now, but he would make the best of a boring situation. He began to pluck blades of grass and lay them in a line on his legs, just to make a pretty pattern. It was better then just sitting there and blankly looking off into space.

Marshall had managed to actually catch the butterfly which was an amazing feet for him since he rarely looked at anything with the intention of actually capturing it, he marched along with butterfly hanging out of his mouth its legs still wiggling in his mouth as it flapped its wings trying to free its self from the mouth of the little Russian Blue, He ran smack dab into the young kid and Jumped back since he had touched someone, "holy crap I'm sorry" he said letting the butterfly, drop from his mouth, " I didn't mean to touch you" He said his skin crawling at the fact that he was just touched, now he needed a bath.

Aiden was so focused on rearranging the blades of grass to make a happy face on his knee he didn't realize a handsome grey kitty cat coming his way. Far to surprised about being bumped into, Aiden gasped and scurried a foot or two from the creature. Once able to get a good look at what it was Aiden just stared at the tiny beast of a cat and smiled warmly."Hello there," he spoke to the cat and pulled his multi colored finned friend near to him."I'm sorry I was in the way," Aiden managed to apologize for something that, once again, wasn't his fault. His eyes then fell to the butterfly that was crippled by now and just fluttering from the spasms of a soon to be death."Awww... poor butterfly. What did it ever do to you?"

Marshall looked at the bug on the ground, " um it went past me" he said with a nod, " I mean it really didn't do anything it just kinda fluttered past me, but that was it." Marshall looked at the small boy, "when did you get here?" he asked tilting his head, " I haven't seen you around, well I really haven't seen anyone else around, cept the girls" he said with a small kitty like nod.

It seemed like forever before Aiden answered the russian blue cat who seemed to have destroyed that little butterfly for no reason. It seemed like such a tragedy to the young boy because that butterfly could have made many baby butterflies and those butterflies could have made even more babies. To Aiden, killing that one little butterfly was like killing thousands. Thousands of little winged creatures that were so beautiful and peaceful. Beauty and peace was something Aiden was very fond of, too.
"Well, mister 'I eat butterflies for no reason', I just moved here. Not to long ago." This had actually been the first time to the park, but he could already tell this is where he would be taking a lot of time out of his day. He already had plans to go nap in the large plastic tunnels and climb the rope web as much as he could and play with that tire swing. He would surely have a long day ahead of him tomorrow when he'll try to do all those things in just a single short day.

Marshall looked hurt at the new nickname, " I'm pretty new here too." he said curling him tail around him twitching it slightly, " I've only been here a short time, And I'm a cat I don't get the luxury of walking around on two legs, and I have a tiny attention span when things fly past me, I wasn't planning on killing it." He said to the boy looking over at the now dead bug, "it was so....." he didn't know how to say it, " It was there and flying and it was flying and calling my name, If it wouldn't have stopped I never woulda caught it, I normally beg for food, it didn't even taste that good" He said with a sigh, pawing his tail trying not to come off to this boy meanly or anything, " ummmm so sorry I touched you" He said looking up at the boy, " I like your toy" He said with a nod, he hadn't had a toy in a while, he let his mind wander off and start thinking about being back home, in his humans bed with his stuffed mouse he had loved so much, he let out an annoyed sigh starting to paw at his tail once again.
