Spend your time doing other things, like hanging out with friends or watching movies. Whatever you like to do with your freetime that didn't involve your ex, do it. Try to keep yourself busy until the pain begins to fade. ::hugs:: You can PM if you need someone to talk to. I think I'm the queen of breakups.

Basically to just keep your mind off of the break-up as much as you can, is all I can think of. Watch a movie, read a book, go hang out with friends, etc.
With me, I thought about it a lot. And it took me a really long time to get over it. My boyfriend broke up with me on the first day of March, and it took me until about mid-August to talk to him, and be able to move on. That was when I talked to him on MSN, and he more or less admitted that he regretted (to a degree) breaking up with me. That was mostly what I'd been waiting to here, and for me personally, talking to my ex helped me move on.
I also had a new boyfriend, whom I started dating exactly a month after my ex broke up with me, and he's helped me deal with the break-up a lot. I am very grateful for his support and his help.
But for now, occupying yourself might just be best. heart Take care of yourself, and remember it's his loss.

For me it was always chocolate and pepsi. LOL
Seriously though xAuxReviorx Gave you the perfect advice.
Try doing things that is not the same as what you did with your ex.
Keep your self busy, and try to stay positive.
Also refrain from saying negative things about your ex, this will make you look and feel better arround other people.
