I've recently been asked a lot about yaoi roleplays within the guild.
I DO NOT have a problem with roleplays, but there ARE some groundrules to follow WHEN you want to set up a roleplay.
~ ALWAYS ASK PERMISSION. PM me telling me you want to set it up, [send me the STORYLINE with it.] If I see a roleplay being set up without my consent, it will be locked.
~ PLOT REGULATIONS. I will ONLY tolerate fighting violence in any of the roleplays. Anything that suggests a character be tortured or hurt deliberately in ANY way outside of fighting is STRICTLY not allowed ANYWHERE in my guild and will be dealt with. Remember the PG-13 rule, people. I will also NOT tolerate any references to DRUGS or ALCOHOL in any of the roleplays. Please don't make it hard for us by screwing up totally sober and smart characters, thank you.
~[[Also, please TRY to keep the roleplays within the KH universe. I don't want to see roleplays based on a completely different world other than anything familiar, roleplays where "Sora and Riku just meet, Sora's a crackwhore, Riku's a chainsmoker and Ansem is the druglord blah blah blah...." No copyright infringements.. this means no references to copyrighted stores or companies in your roleplays. Not to mention Riku and Sora never even experienced living in a city. No unexpected society roles, as mentioned above in italics. ]]
~~~I hope you guys can follow these rules and understand that yes, you can create a decent roleplay without all these things. I want these to be KINGDOM HEARTS yaoi roleplays, not random roleplays that happen to have characters with the boy's names. ~~~
~ GRAMMAR IS A MUST. No eccessive swearing, please. I don't want to see nice cheerful Sora turned into some shitmouth.
~Policies on Original characters: I'd prefer not to have any in the RPs. But if you really MUST, they can't have any kind of mutual relationships with the characters. I'm trying to avoid the rabid fangirl "OMGRIKU/SORAsMINESTAYAWAYBITCH" trend. Try not to give them some unrealistically high role in the story either. No keyblade wielders. PLEASE. Those are really common and annoying. Dx
I'm pretty sure you guys are beyond the n00b mentality of OCs in RPing though.
I'm pretty sure this covers it. Any other rules you think are neccessary should be posted here. :3 If you have any questions about these rules, they should be posted here also.
