So i tried to log onto wow one day after goign away for the weekend. It said my password was wrong so i checked my email and had an email saying someone changed my password. I reset my password and logged on and continued to play as normal. The next day i recieved an email saying that my account was permanently banned. I have no idea why i got banned or what even happened. Does anyone have any ideas of what i could do to get my account back? Im guessing whoever hacked onto my account broke the ToS.

actually.. i've seen several of the account hacking in place before

some of the people on elune got their accounts hacked that they (the hackers) would spam the trade chat with offensive words. and it would go on until they got banned.

change your password montly .. or if you're paranoid.. weekly.

If someone wants your password, they are going to get your password. And the moment they get your password i doubt they are going to wait around and give you time to change your pass.
