It seemed that even though the children were put into quarantine as soon as humanly possible some of them still carried the illness that had not yet set in. As Tryst took a turn for the worst the doctor was called in immediately.
It didn't take long for them to wheel the poor girl to another room, the doctor talking with her, wanting to know when she started to feel sick and if she were able to understand him. The girl had it bad and once in the next room the doctor began to prepare an IV right away.

Tryst was frightened, scared to pieces. They had told her she was only a little sick, that she was just being taken away to keep others from getting sick. She hadn't felt that bad, not really. Her face felt really really hot, but she didn't think it was that important.
When the doctor had come in to the quarantine area, Tryst had essentially fainted in the bed sheets she had wrapped herself in. Rushing her into a wheelchair, she had regained consciousness to the doctor's questions. How was she feeling, did her face feel warm, her arms weak...
The fact they managed to get her in the wheel chair was pure luck. As sick as she was, she was still subconsciously twisting in and over herself, her defensive coils barely fitting into the wheelchair.
Her torso was hanging over one of the arms, her lower half wrapped in and around herself, her tail hanging over the other arm. Trysts eyes were fluttering open and closed, as she attempted to answer the doctor.
"It-It's hot..."

Acklin knew she was slipping out of it fast, if her case was anything like the other boy who was about her age, then she might slip into a coma as well. It was something he had to try desperately to prevent.
There was still a lot of missing data, and the kids were dropping like flies. However he had her hooked up to machines in a matter of seconds, having done it so much he became very quick at it.

Tryst barely resisted as she was wheeled into a separate room, being hooked up into various machinery and life support tubes. It made parts of her feel better, kind of. It was easier to breath now, after someone gently pulled a mask over her face; she felt cool air circulating around her nose, easier to breath in then the harsher air from the hallway.
She still hurt, though... Her arms felt weak, as if she had been lifting weights or doing exercises with them for hours, so had no muscle left in them. They felt like limp noodles, basically.
Turning to the fire-haired doctor that had strapped her into the machines, her pale blue eyes watched him, filmed over with a second lid, her face sweating from the fever. "What's wrong with me?" Tryst asked slowly, her voice the merest of hissing whispers, barely audible about the sounds of the machines.

"Just try to relax, don't worry Tryst," Acklin reassured her as he continued to prepare the support machines, "You're very sick but we're doing our best to make you better, and the best way you can help is to just relax okay?" He said grabbing an oxygen mask and putting it on the girl. Breathing would become much easier with it.

Tryst nodded mutely, slowly losing the energy to speak. Instead, she slid down in the bed, her head in the pillow and her hair spread around her like a pale, shimmery iridescent halo while her tail trailed off the end of the bed.
She wanted Emmy. Was he sick too? She hoped not... Tryst desperately wanted her brother to be there. Would the doctor let her see him?
Using the little energy she still had, she managed to flop her arm over and grab weakly onto the doctor's sleeve. "Can-Can I see Emmy?" Tryst asked, voice quiet.

Acklin looked at the clock, and then pondered the date. This thing was getting bad, and fast and there was still no vaccine. There needed to be something done. And fast.
"Emmy?" He asked snapping back into reality, "Your brother? When you are both better. You can see each other then." He promised with a smile.
He needed more data and there was really only one option left. Acklin walked over to the oxygen tank. He bent down and switched the hose over to the anesthesia. It wouldn't take long for the young snake girl to collapse into unconsciousness.

She wanted to argue with him, to demand to see Tryst. She was generally the more forceful of the pair, while Emmet was the shyer one. She wanted to argue, she did...
Trsyt felt her eyes droop slowly. The doctor had flicked a switch or something, and the little girl felt herself getting sleepy. She fought to keep her eyes awake, barely managing to grab the doctor's sleeve. "E-Emmy..." She mumbled, before the weight of her hand dropped, her eyes shut in unconsciousness.

Thanks to Trysts 'operation' the vaccine had finally been found. The doctor was swift when he came in to give her the vaccine. Just as he had with all the other children he slipped her the needle with the vaccine.
Soon she would be feeling better, and if all went well no more complications would arise. Just as quickly as he had come Acklin left, there were still children who needed the vaccine.
