So recently my main account has gone silver. With 2 weeks left of summer, I'm without hope or anything to do. So. I've heard rumors that you can get 2 months of XBL for free if you make a new Account on your 360 console. Is this true and how can I go about it?

I believe it's one free month of Xbox Live Gold, and it only one per every new console, not every new account. So unless you wanna go buy another 360, you'll have to go buy a gold card at Wal-Mart or something.

I make new accounts all the time. ALL the time. I get a free month every time.Alright, well I just read a couple forums, and most say that the limit is at least three accounts before it stops giving you free gold memberships. Sorry for being wrong! sweatdrop

Well that's a damn shame. I went through the whole proccezs of making a new account on Xbox.com, creating a fake e-mail cause I accidently out in my true birthday...and it finally asks me at the end if I want to sign up for Xbox Gold...

u suppose to make the account using the 360 to get it free
im not sure but i heard its only 3 accounts for 1 month each
or just save up 50 bucks and buy a 12 months+1 month card
