With a soft flutter of her wings, Nari landed outside the kitsu HQ. Her latest brood was wrapped gently in a blanket - which she carried in her mouth. Pausing for only a moment, she glanced back over her shoulders, then shrugged her shoulders. Her other offspring would be coming. She brushed the door open, then made her way inside, making a beeline for her mate as soon as she saw him.With a slight bang, Mau Cho apparated outside of the kitsu HQ. It was a small bit of magic - and the only she had inherited from her father. At the very least, it made moving between places much easier. She had not seen her family in a very long time. Especially her once-rival sister. The dark female was invisible against the night as she glanced back out towards the gardens seeking her brother. He was not to be seen. Mau Cho frowned, then followed her mother.
Enue had dropped behind his mother quickly. He could not fly, nor do magic. So he was forced to cover the distance on foot. And he was not in any great hurry to follow; he still did not care much for the company of others outside his family.

There was so much love in the way he said her name. That still residual and ever present trace of disbelief that anything so wonderful could happen to him. That he had her love... and that together they had created this wonderful, wonderful family. A smile to see she was followed by MauCho, with wondering if Enau would be joining them as well.
"Grandmommy!!" Aurum exclaimed softly, gold dipped tails wagging to brush her uncle's sides. "Hello Mother." Nearby Liliana smiled softly and a bit sheepishly, a flicker of guilt and shame casting a shadow in her green eyes as she saw MauCho behind Nari. "MauCho. Good to see you again."

She sat silently in the shadows a look of immense pride on her face as she watched her sister and her rather obscenely large family. Though Nokomis wouldnt trade that extended family for all the diamonds in the world. She hadnt stepped forward. She knew nari knew she was there and would be around in due time.

"Nokomis, stop skulking about =p""There is one boy, brother." MC grinned at Aidan. "And you have not had to protect all of us, have you?" She was quite used to protecting herself, thank you very much. But her younger brother's concern for her was sweet.

There was a pleased rumbling sound from Remus as he nuzzled his mate, waiting until she was finished greeting their children and half hoping, half expecting her to come to his side when finished. He nuzzled her again when the cloth was opened, murmuring gently how wonderful she was &how lovely -how perfect- their young were.
"fft... We're all family here. Want me to pop out and get him?" Hemi still was not the best at apparating, and his uncertainty showed on his face more than his reluctance to leave the others. But he would to get them all here. Better than Enue wandering somewhere, being antisocial. Could at least do it here where he could bug hug him.
Aurum glanced between her mother and the dark female with her brow ridges knitted in perplexity, waiting as Liliana responded. "I'd hoped you would come to Christmas..." She started softly, green eyes almost pleading forgiveness. Her small crimson form though held erect seemed to give off the sadness of realizing the time lost them. Slowly she smiled, nudging her daughter. "Edward and I wanted to share the joy of our kits with all our family. This is Aurum. Our youngest." "If you are able to collect your brother, it would be best to do so.. he will turn back otherwise.""I never received any invitation." She frowned slightly, upset now. She did not doubt Lily's words - that she had been wanted. But she had not received an invitation. "I have my own family now.. with James Potter." With a small grin, she glanced over at Remus to see what his reaction would be. She doubted that he had heard of that - unless mother had spilled it.

Dear readers. When we last left off, the mad yet beautiful Death had poor Hotohori tied with rope strengthened with magic wizard glue. Or rather... he had just squirmed free after the acid saliva of a nightmare had dissolved the rope from within, freeing him from Death's no longer watchful eye as the 1/4 Nobody had been distracted...

As if sensing either its grandmother -yay!- or new kin-eggs -more yay!- Death 'FarFar' Wilson appeared overhead. Or rather... the silver ponytailed kitsu barreled out of nowhere. Literally. A shadow portal opened overhead and apparently spit the black & blue clad kitsu at her grandmother like a bullet from a gun complete with all the force within.
"Grams!" Death exclaimed with delight while reeling from her arrival, gold eyes crossing. "And Aunt what's'yer'name! Mom didn't tell me you were twins." A Puzzled look on her face. "No mister rabbit. Not with each other. That wouldn't make any sense."
Sense? The mad kitsu knew the word at all?
Leaning her head back until looking at the Lupins upsidedown Death called cheerily (oh dear... that's another scary imagery) "Ruuuuuum!!! Emo-booooooooooooy!! Were's Josh? Did the Sporks save him or are we going on a mission?" And would peanut butter be involved. Yes. With this kitsu... that was most likely.
The chocolate furred patriarch chuckled at the world domination thing. Oh no... that was never his intent. Never his intent... to more than love his mate. To love their children.
Liliana's eyes saddened. "But... we left them at mothers... The whole family was invited..." Gold tipped ears hung low, so few had shown. The invitations should not have gotten lost. They were spelled not to. But if they did not get the invitations somehow... or see them... well that would explain it. Liliana had simply thought they did not want to come.
Remus choked. His first reaction to the name 'James Potter'. It took a while to regain semblance of composure considering his current state. "We'd heard. Daddy & Aunt Ginny have been ... well they don't say it -at least Daddy doesn't- but ... well you know Aunt Ginny. After Cedrella causing so much trouble either real or insinuated... they wanted to see the kits, you know." The small crimson femme finished lamely, green eyes lifting to look at her sister's. Hemi nuzzled her, then left her to her daughter as he went to try and un-break his werewolf kin before disapparating to find Enue.
Aurum blinked at her cousin's appearance and giggled, tossing worried glances at the rest of her family. "Josh was fine last I saw him, FarFar."

Eyes wide, Nari watched the bundle of blue and black fur that barrelled towards her sister. She was only partly worried - for she knew that this kitsu was family (even before she stated as such).. however her expression turned to amusement as Death began speaking to the air. "And you think my family is odd." "Things get lost. Even with the help of spells." She could see the guilt and disappointment on her sister's face, and she responded by making her way to her sibling and nuzzling her cheek. A sign of forgiveness. "Perhaps you can meet Theo soon?"

She had heard the warp. Used to the sound from her mate and her daughters. However the full grown kitsu bomb that landed on her was completely a different story. She had such amazing grandchildren.

His crimson daughter was equally stunned, green eyes closing slightly as she returned the unexpected nuzzle with relief and thanks. "I would really like that, MauCho.” Her eyes fluttered open, seeing someone that reminded her of Ginny’s mate. Without wings… "Is that…?”
It was starting to get to be a lot of kitsu for Aurum. Not that she was not used to hordes… but more that her heart was fit to bursting with happiness at so many family members around. Snuggling down she watched with bright green eyes, her tails swaying happily. If only Daddy and her siblings were here too! Oh & Uncle Al! He should be around HQ somewhere! She wanted to introduce everyone!

*sighs* This, my good readers, is what happens when you don’t stop Death from interrupting a perfectly good & sweet little family reunion. Have you ever tried to put a leash on Death? I’m a narrator. I’ll set the nanosperm that will dance in his armpits! I’ll… I’ll…” Pause. "Who’s Anakin, Grams?” As normal and polite as could be.

Banded ears winced softly at Death’s exclamations as he snuggled into his mate. Remus would never tire of such moments. Hearing his daughter’s soft gasp of surprise he looked up to James, dark eyes widening in first surprise and then merriment as MauCho tackled who could only be her mate. He looks like his father… and therefore his grandfather…well named. Nodding to himself Remus continued to nuzzle and snuggle Nari while watching, and waiting to be officially introduced.
Aurum gasped at her cousin. "FarFar!” Her green eyes flicked between Death, and her aunt who had just tackled the most-likely-James kitsu; while also glancing at all the others. So much going on!
Hemi could tell he was on the right track and picked up speed. “C’mon, ‘Nue. Mom sent me to get you. I’ll take you there, quick as a whistle. Don’t you wanna see Aurum at least? She’s adorable.”

Laughing softly, Nari ducked her head under Remus's chin. "He has an uncanny sense of timing." "This?" Mau Cho looked around. "Just my family. Well, part of it anyways. We're missing a few of my siblings, and of course, we're missing a lot of nieces and nephews. And I'm going to have more siblings soon!" With her mate, MC was much, much more animated and cheerful. Grabbing James by his collar, she dragged him about the room, introducing him to this relative or that relative. She skirted around Death, however, for the odd kitsu made her nervous - despite the relation.
"No, I'd much rather be in my bed with a book." Enue hufed out as Hemi caught up with him. "Figures, mom would send you to make sure I didn't escape." For all Enue's whining, he was mostly bluffing. He loved his family, despite all their oddness. He would still rather be in bed with a book, though.

…I don’t think there’s anything I can say to this anymore. Death’s grandmother is beyond me. Though it’s worrying me to think Noko would approve of DeadPool for her daughter… O_O I think I broke my own mind with that.

Her ears flicked at the chopsticks idea, and one could almost see the mad one filing the idea away for later. "Yeah. Bummer. Batter was a little fun. But you know what’s better? Pop-em’s. Those snappy things?” Pause. "Mess is good. But not with food. Do you know the weird tastes in an oven? Can’t approve that restaurant. Cuisine not up to standards. Waiting for a star to fall! Capture your heart into my arms, that’s where you belong in my arms, baby, yeah. Grams, do you got a song?”
Remus chuckled softly, nuzzling his mate and gently nibbling her ear. "Yes he seems to have one.” Smiling a bit sad at James & MauCho as if to say ‘welcome to the family, son’ ‘congratulations’ & ‘when do I see my grandchildren’ all at once.
Liliana was feeling a little bereft without her own mate now, and felt her face heating with the thought. It was not that she could not be without him… just that she missed him so when they were apart. It was always nice to have Edward to snuggle into as well. Repositioning her wings, she greeted her brother-in-law (& honorary ‘cousin’) warmly.
"Pleasure meeting you, Uncle James.” Aurum said with a smile, hopping forward to hug him sweetly. Green eyes darted to where Death was with Noko. "FarFar’s really not so bad, once you get used to her.” That was easy for the alchemist witch to say –she was one of FarFar’s favorites and one of the few the mad kitsu heeded. Because Aurum had a knack of saving Josh from the closet.
Landing beside him, Hemi wrapped his wings & neck around his brother in a holding hug. “Then you can talk to ‘Rum about books. She reads a lot too. Hard to say if it’s more than Lil or not.” He was grinning at Enue, taking the harsh words with more than a pinch of salt. “I’ll take you back home when we’re done if you want. Don’t see why you didn’t just come in with MC. Way I hear it, she was apparating the day she hatched.” With that he dissapparated, to apparate in the HQ’s common room with his ‘prisoner’.
