 As Alucard trotted through the forest, he nodded to himself, agreeing with his decision to go hunting. It made perfect sense. It was dark, so he couldn't be easily seen by his prey. It was windy, so scent would carry far. But, most importantly, Argent was asleep. Alucard honestly considered the greyish female the bane of his existence, something he hoped would change. After all, one such as him needed a much more important bane than the girl two days older than him. There would be only one other explanation for her being as bossy as she was, but he knew that that was impossible. There was no way she was his intended master; whoever that was would be somebody far smarter, faster, stronger, and, if female, prettier. But now was not the time to dwell on that; now was the time to hunt in the moonlight. As he stepped out into a clearing, he raised his head and scented for others. Alucard, though secretive and solitary, often enjoyed hunting with others. After all, he cared for nothing but the blood of his prey, and he didn't like the idea of the meat going to waste. Turning his head about, he looked for them, too. Heh, he thought. I almost do need the sunglasses tonight.. The moon was truly beautiful, blood red and bright as the sun, with none of that nasty heat. "What a perfect night," he half-murmured to himself. "The kind of night that makes me want a bite to drink." His coat flapped around him as the wind played with his hat. Snarling, he stuck it down with a claw while he waited for another to come by.

 "Thanks again for the hunting lesson." The female gave a slight snort as she moved, her claw impatiently twitching and slapping the ground beneath her feet. Her shirt felt strange against her skin, and yet warm. The night was cool, and the moon had enough light for the perfect hunting lesson. Hopefully there would be a perfect hunting spot as well. She looked over at the other female rapotr, giving a small growl. "I just hope Shaiya and Constantine don't kill each other..." The blood red raptor gave a slight shrill. "It's not a problem! I haven't hunted in forever! This is a good break for me." Her eyes scanned the area quickly as they walked. The tribal couldn't shake the feeling that some eerie presence was there with him. But what could she do? Sniffing the air, she continued her steady gait, the human-like raptor behind her at her left flank. "Doubtful, dear." She replied, her tail tip whipping as she moved. "That's why Te'Rah is there. To keep the peace so they don't end up in pieces."

A pair of interesting scents wafted through the air as voices could be heard coming through the forest. Intrigued, Alucard hid himself in the trees as the female raptors rounded the bend. There were two of them, just as he'd scented, both fairly interesting-looking. The larger, older-looking of the two was an impressive blood-red female, with a black crest, while the other seemed to share his penchant for wearing clothing, albeit less extensively or flamboyantly. Indeed, while his made him stand out amongst the scenery, hers helped her blend in if anything. Glasses, also like him, though clear and rectangular instead of orange and round, and her crest was flat and brown... odd. He'd never seen any raptor with a crest quite like that. Was one of them the promised Master? He doubted it, but they'd still be worth talking to. Anybody other than Argent was worth taking the time to talk to! Sidling up to them in his traditional, smooth-as-silk way, he removed his hat and nodded his head at them amicably. "Beautiful night, isn't it, girls?"

Anna immediately stood frozen, her eyes glued to the male in front of her. Who was he? He seemed so familiar to her, it was so weird. Shaking her head, hair brushing against her face, she looked at him for a moment, clearing her throat as she did. "H-Hello." Her voice was slightly hesitant, in the beginning, her eyes wary. "I suppose it is a pleasant night. Perfect for hunting." The femme gave a content growl to clear her throat. Her clawed hands began to play with her pendant nervously, but her eyes never left his shades for a second. She was young, yes, but not an idiot.
The blood female hissed, her gripping claw twitching with unease. As the younger spoke, she kept her guard up, slightly coming up to the front, her body positioned between the two, but not entirely noticeable. The male was strange with his clothes, but was slightly like Anna. However, his intentions were...ill. She could sense the darkness in this one. Anastacia didn't like it all, but for now she was quiet, only talking when she needed to. He would reveal himself sooner or later

Alucard smiled a Cheshire grin, fangs gleaming in the moonlight. "Indeed it is a nice night. It's especially nice if you're a bloodsucker!" He opened his mouth slightly, displaying his oversized canines to their full extent, then shut his jaws. He didn't want to frighten the females too much; after all, an evening in their company would perhaps prove enjoyable. "Forgive me for frightening you," he said graciously, noting the young female's nervousness and the blood-red one's intense alertness. "My name is Alucard. Might I have the distinct pleasure of knowing yours?"

Immediately, she hissed at the showing of his unusually large canines and teeth, her claws slightly poised and spread. Her crest did not raise, however, for it couldn't. But that didn't stop her tail from lashing about, silver bracelets gently ringing as they clanked together. At his name, she stopped. It was extremely familiar to her, and yet she couldn't place it. Shaking her head, she tried to ease up on her guard. "Well, Alucard, it is certainly a pleasure to meet you. My name is Anna, but some call me Ryuu. Whichever you prefer is fine for me."
The blood red tribal had been watching his obnoxious display of teeth with slight disdain. She had seen it all before, and wasn't exactly going to show her true emotions. Holding back a snarl, she looked over at her companion while she spoke. The clothed female was still shaking like leaf, but what could the elder do about it? Locking her gaze back to the male, she snorted. "I am called Anastacia." And that was that. Her dark eyes glared toward him, tail stiff as always. She seemed void of emotion, never revealing a thing that might down her in a fight...if the need ever arose for her to.

Alucard grinned widely, the fangs adding a disconcerting effect. "There's no need to be nervous, little Anna. Nor is there for you, Miss Anastacia. As I've said, I'm only after blood... not yours in particular! Besides, somewhere out there is a young lady who would murder me for harming one of her kind without need. As of now, though, I've yet to meet her," he said, growing nearly wistful at the end. He knew full-well just how guarded the older female was; were he not in such a pleasant mood tonight, perhaps that reserve would be necessary. He rather enjoyed how spooked the younger was; it was nice to know he had that power. "As it is, I'm on the hunt. Care to join me? You might pick up a few new tricks from one who's been around longer than either of you lovelies."

She gulped a little, her gripping claw twitching nervously. She began to back up a little, hiding behind the older female's shadow. However, she kept her eyes on the male, lowering her body in a hunting stance. At his invitation, she looked over at Anastacia for a second before turning her gaze back to Alucard. "Sure. I'm up for another hunting lesson."
"As I am. I'm sure an old dog can be taught new tricks." She teased, giving her own fanged grin, her tail tip gently shaking in anticipation. Her muscles gave a slight quiver, her clawed feet itching to dig into something other than the earth. "So, where shall we go, Alucard?" The female lifted herself up high as she eyed him. "Just lead the way. we will follow Dark One."

 In the dark shade of a pine tree two neon blue eyes gazed at the hunting party passing. He was well build for a raptor, though not large, but large enough to take down a full grown deer and small enough to disappear into the brush. His crest feathers where long and adorned with all the colors of the rainbow, and on his side was yet another rainbow. Though he was usually not judge mental he seemed slightly taken aback by the sight of one of the female raptors and the male were wearing clothing. He had never gotten quite used to the idea but he shrugged it off. "Well you never know" he thought to himself, they might turn into an interesting group to meet, best not to judge by looks." As silent as wind the followed behind in the darkness of the vegetation

Dark One. He liked it. When the Master came along, whoever she was, he'd have to suggest that as a nickname. Grinning madly, Alucard's long tongue unfurled, tasting the wind. "Off we go, my beauties!" he howled, beginning to run, but a strange new smell stopped him in his tracks. "And you, too. You there, in the bushes. Come out, come out, whoever you are! Join us on this most lovely of nights!" The vampiric raptor's voice had grown harsh and hungry; he was a beast after blood of the weak, wanting to share in the revelry of the kill with whoever chose to join him. So long as he got his blood.

Anna tilted her head at the strangeness of the male before proceeding. As he ran, she tried to catch up, and almost ran into him when he stopped. Using her claws as brakes, she dug them into the ground. Her senses were slightly dull for a raptor, so she didn't catch on to the stranger until Alucard called him out. Her head whipped around wildly in search, "feathers" brushing and stretching out like tendrils. After a moment, she calmed herself, but her eyes still roamed. Where was he? Of course, the other would probably know where he was leaving Anna the only one in the dark again. Fixing her glasses gingerly, she swallowed a sigh..and her fears.
The tribal female was well aware that another had come upon their hunting party. Strange. The scent was male, and he was alone. With an annoyed hiss, she stared directly at the bushes, trying to guess where he would be. "You gonna come out, or do you want me to gut you like a fish?" She commanded, the female itching to get her claws and teeth into something. Once the hunt was on, she did not want to stop under any circumstances. And that meant some curious or lost raptor getting in the way. "You either hunt with us, or become the hunted." She threatened yet again. She didn't like not knowing where the possible threat might be.

"Nice way of greeting a stranger," Echo snarled at the red female as he leaped from the bushes. Truth was that he really wasn't usually this bitter, but he had mostly stayed away from other raptors, he was sick of the way they treated him and lately it had been exceptionally bad. This time he had reached a turning point, he wanted to call them on it and have them own up, his alpha side coming out. Getting himself under control he decided a better approach. "Night hunting eh? You are in luck, it's what I love best," he said with a devious smile. "Maybe I will teach you some new tricks, I'm out almost every night." He noticed the female with clothing was shaking and looking pale. He felt slightly guilty now for the rather ferocious entrance. Maybe he could hold up a good conversation with her and maybe calm her a bit. Th e red female nodded intent to get on with the hunt and Echo with is new companions continued into the darkness.

"Old tricks, new tricks, red tricks, blue tricks," Alucard murmured as he ran. The group was balanced now , which pleased him, even though Anna seemed almost afraid of the hunt. Granted, it mattered not; she was easily the youngest of the four of them, and had plenty of time to work. And Anastacia was easily bold enough to teach her. It seemed that he was the leader; his uncanny sense of smell made it natural. Even for a raptor, Alucard's nose was extra-sensitive. If he had to guess, it was the whole vampire thing. Stretching his neck to allow more air to flow through his mouth, he sampled the atmosphere for the scent of food. "We got a stand of elk down thataways, smells like two does and their calves. Not picking up a buck. Though, if we really wanted something fun, I'm picking up a grizzly a ways south of us. Which do we go for?"

Anna kept to the back between Anastacia and the new male. He seemed to be angry at her blood red companion, but what could she do? Shaking her head, she stretched out, keeping her body balanced. She wasn't one of the fastest, but she kept pace easy enough. However, the socks of her feet were slightly noisy, and her feet were throwing up a lot of dirt. Apparently she had a lot to learn. At the question of food, she kept quiet. Elk was easier...but grizzlies were interesting...She kept giving idle glances to the stranger wondering what he thought.
"I vote Elk. We have a young one with us." She glanced quickly at the tan female before up at Alucard. "I refuse to risk her safety just for some "fun". If anything, I can take her and you both can have your own hunt." Her tone was icy as she ran, her forearms smothered against her chest, head down and stretched as she made herself more streamline. She easily caught up to Alucard's right flank keeping pace with him. The other male was starting to get on her nerves already.

"My vote is for elk too," Echo called. He wasn't really in the mood for grizzly, the meat was tough and not worth the tussle with the sharp end. He'd learned that lesson the hard way, in moment of a cocky sense of strength he tried to take on a bull moose, and suffered the consequences, a large amount of blood loss and two broken ribs. Te'Rah saved him, and for that Echo owed him one, it was too bad their meeting turned out so negatively, he hoped he could befriend that raptor someday. He noticed red the alpha female looked rather irritated with him so he decided that it would be better if she didn't have to have him in her face. Slowing down his pace until ran side by side with the young tan raptor he nodded to her and asked, "What is your name young one? This your first time out night hunting?"
