Hello. My name is Slayer. Yes, it's an odd name, but I used to be leader of a group of assassins, you see. I don't remember much of my life before I turned, living too long tends to do that to a person. I don't even keep track of my age. Currently, I am retired/semi-retired, and my organization has more or less disbanded due to circumstance. My old castle was used as our HQ, and since everyone else has left, only my loved one and I remain. I tried to stick to my forced retirement, but empty, cavernous halls have a way of getting to you. So we ended up globe trotting.
I ended up stumbling into Durem after an embarrassing accident involving too much alcohol, dimensional portals, and traveling under influence. The wife wasn't too pleased about that, but I managed to find some place for us to stay in, while I tried to figure out a way to return home. To occupy my time, I took to lurking around towns and cities in this new world. It was a pleasant surprise to find zounds of vampire hunters. More so, -unskilled- hunters. They're very fun to play with if they don't run away, though I wouldn't be feeding off their lifeblood anytime soon. Empty calories, you know. Sharon dislikes the thought of it, even.
Then, two vampires approached me one day, during one of my shenanigans. They asked if I was willing to join their family, instead of having nothing else to do but pick on youngsters all day. And here I am. I don't consider myself to be some sort of sibling as I am merely a wandering stranger, but I am more than willing to make allies and drinking buddies.
Also. I like cats.
