Tokio Hotel is a German band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in 2001 by guitarist Tom Kaulitz ((^white hat)), singer Bill Kaulitz ((^fluffy hair heart )), drummer Gustav Schäfer ((^black hat)), and bassist Georg Listing ((^the other guy that left...)). The quartet has scored four number one singles and has released two number one albums in their native Germany, selling nearly 5 million CDs and DVDs there.

How I discovered them.....a friend from college showed me a youtube video of Monsoon, and I just fell for them (even though during the whole video I was trying to figure out if the singer was a guy or girl).....
