Sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset... The days had come and gone many times over, each one bringing joy in some things, sadness in others. Seeing Naina along with her son and their younger brothers had lightened her heart but it had also left her thinking about her childhood; thoughts lingering for far too long on the things that might have been.
Her thoughts now found her gazing down into a small pond that she had decided to rest beside, her breath causing the reeds in front of her to dance and the pool beneath her to ripple. Every new memory was like a ripple, changing the surface of something until it eventually faded away. Memories; the things that she had been named after... Would she, like them, fade away some day?
Perhaps, on some level, she had already started. Her wings no longer seemed to shine as brightly as they once had. She found herself feigning the various motions of every day life; smiling as she awoke to the sound of Draven's daughters talking, seeming delighted by the excitement Ina had in little things like life itself, telling Eidolon stories about when she'd been younger and the things she'd done. Maybe feelings like this had been why her mother had left only to return with a new life.

He'd gone back to visit his family after he'd parted ways with Memory and her family. Nothing much new there. The little ones had grown up into big'ns, and some of them had little ones of their own. Same'ol same'ol. Most of the had been surprised to see him, knowing he preferred to be wandering around, but they'd all given him warm welcomes.
He'd been surprised to find out that Dodger and Wylie weren't at each others throat anymore. He'd never thought he'd see the day they could be chatting easily with each other. He'd never been anywhere near close to his brother, or sister for that matter, and it itched at the back of his mind. Loner ... something he'd never thought he'd end up as.
He could only take the large jumble of his family for so long before he had to get away. So he'd gone back to wandering around. Back to the usual...

Sighing softly she pushed herself up onto her hooves, knowing that she couldn't very well just lie here and think like this all day and all night. It wouldn't get her anywhere. If anything it would simply speed up the whole fading away mess; something that she didn't want to think on any more either.
She shook it off, turning away from the small pond. "Not today, ripples... I'll join you some other time..." She murmured softly after glancing back over her shoulder once more. She'd made too many promises to let them all fade away just yet and there was one in particular that she'd been meaning to keep despite one thing or another always popping up.

He trotted along the river toward the darker parts of the forest. He called that area home enough that he liked wandering though it. The trees were soft and were a good shield from the summer heat and the winter snows. There were good memories there to. One memory in particular that he'd like to run into again if he could.
He hadn't told his parents about that yet. He didn't know what any of them would say and he didn't want them to say anything if he was just going to look liek he was bragging. What was the use in telling them that you'd found the most wonderful girl ever if she wasn't there to show off? He'd always told Dah that he'd find a girl who was prettier than mama and he had.
A goofy smile crossed his face as he paused to think about Memory.

Her pace picked up as she thought about the one friend she'd made that had no connections to her family, a soft smile curving the corners of her muzzle until she felt a bit more care free than she had in... Well, since the last time their paths had crossed; since they'd gone on an adventure that had lead her places that she'd never thought of seeing before.
Sedi had taken her away from it all so that she had stories to bring back; things to tell her mother when she returned from her own adventure that had taken her away. She had wanted to become the sort of mare that both Draven and her mother could be proud of... She'd like to think that simply knowing Sedi had helped her with that.
"I wonder... What you're doing right now..." She murmured as she paused to glance up at the sky. "Are you looking at the same stars that I am?"

He'd continued his trot after his momentary pause to think of memories. He shouldn't be thinking things like that when he hadn't even really figured out if Memory liked him that much. They were just friends .. and she might want it to stay that way. So he had to make sure that he was okay with that. That he could be okay with just being friends.
Shaking his head he followed along the river toward where he knew her family spent most of their time. He didn't know the area well but he at least knew the darkening of the trees meant that he was close.
Close enough that a soft glow of purple wings came to his attention. She seemed like she was lost in thought.
"Can ah hope yer talkin about me?" He grinned as he trotted closer to the mare. "And that ah can tell ya that'm lookin at better stars?"

She nearly startled out of her skin at the sound of a voice that didn't register as being familiar until after she'd turned to look at the white-maned male. She knew that had Draven been around he would have thoroughly chastised her for not paying more attention to her surroundings, but...
"If you're looking at better stars I'd like you to point them out to me in the sky." She smiled as she turned to fully face her friend, the soft glow of her wings seeming to brighten just a bit in his presence. "The ones I was looking at were shining pretty brightly."

"Ain't in tha sky." He grinned as he trotted closer to her. "Yer brighter and prettier than'day are." At least he thought that way anyway. She'd probably call him silly for thinking that though, least it was cute when she chastised him.
"Watcha doin out ere all'lone?" She'd told him before that Draven didn't like her out alone. He'd probably like it less when she wasn't paying attention

"Sedi..." There was a good bit of chastisement in her voice but it couldn't drown out the delight she felt in seeing him again, the delight she showed by leaning in to n** at a strand of his mane, giving it a teasing tug. "I have too much of my father in me and not enough of my mother to be pretty... I can settle with just being me. I..." She paused for a moment, glancing down at the ground. "I was out here thinking... I'd wanted to be alone for a bit."

He nudged his nose against hers gently. "I can leave ya alone .. if ya still want it?" He might have interrupted something and she might want to keep thinking without his distraction, no matter how much he wanted to see her.
"And ya got plenty of yer mah."

"How do you know that?" Her brow lofted slightly as she eyed him as best she could. "You've never met my mother before, you know." She pressed her nose right back against his before slowly pulling away. "You don't have to leave me alone... I wasn't thinking about anything that's not better off interrupted anyways. It was just making me mopey."
She managed a half-hearted smile before moving to brush her shoulder against his. "Do you feel like walking with me for a bit?"
