Name : Nicodeamus Du Noir, most fondly called Nico.
Gender : Male
Age : 17
Year : Seventh Year
House : Gryffindor
Ethnicity : Nordic/ French
Hair/Eye Color : Pitch black hair, usually slicked back into a ponytail. Eyes are a deep grey.
Pet : Well... Let's see... He's allergic to cats, toads disgust him, and birds are just about the most irritating animal in the world in his opinion. He has an owl.
Home Life : Born to a Norse father and French mother, he takes more after his father's side, a hulking, heavily muscled man of nearly seven feet. He has a little sister, currently in St. Mungos after she ingested one of mum's potions on accident.
Lillian, his little sister, is the most precious thing in the world to him. When she drank the unfinished potion, she instantly fell ill. She has only recently woken from the ten- month coma, while Nico was ending his Sixth year. Nicodeamus instantly went to St. Mungos after his year ended to visit her. It took a lot of forcing to get him to actually go to Hogwarts for his last year.
Collete-Nadine, his mother, was appalled when her little, three year old daughter drank the potion. Originally a Lucky Potion, it was extremely poisonous in it's uncompleted state. The Ministry pardoned her when it was deemed that it was an accident, and the guilt was punishment enough. She never forgave herself for nearly killed her little girl, and took her life in penance for it. Before her death, she was a dutiful housewife, though, they did have a house-elf.
Hodr, Nico's father, a strict man with a gruff demeanor, works as a professor in Durmstrang. When Nicodeamus decided to go to Hogwarts instead of Durmstrang, Hodr grudgingly agreed, knowing that it would be better for his son, and would make Collete-Nadine happy. Originally Nordic, allowed his darling wife to keep her French surname as their family name, mainly because no one would be able to pronounce his own surname, unless they were from his precious Norway. When his Lillian was admitted into St. Mungos, he tried, desperately to convince his wife that it was not her fault. Evidently, she did not heed him, as she left the mortal plane soon afterward. When this occured, he never forgave himself, but remained alive, if only for Nicodeamus and Lillian.
Diving deeper : Nicodeamus looks like quite the intimidating man, what with his height, build, and eternal scowl. He's always looking for a fight, always itching to beat up some Slytherins. He hates Potions classes, and makes it a point to show that. Partial to Transfiguration, he hopes to become an Animagus one day, having already thought of the animal he would use, a beautiful and elegant black panther.
He enjoys flirting with women, and is quite good at it. Despite the fact that he could probably lift all of the girls he's flirted with up with one hand, he has quite the fanclub. His favorite kind of women are smart, blonde, and thin.
Many times, he's been mistaken for a half-giant by people, which is a touchy subject for him. In other words, if you would like to keep your face as it is, don't call him a half-giant.
Taking a closer look : Nicodeamus was starting to fall asleep. He'd been next to Lill's side for the past month, and had made it a task to sleep as little as possible, and play games with her whenever she wanted. The little girl was about the size of his forearm, and so frail and tiny. He knew, that if anyone wanted to, they could snap her in half. But, he refused to put his little sister in danger. She was all he had to remind him of mum, who would never be able to see that her daughter was alright. Taleir, their worthless little house-elf stood at Lill's feet, wringing his hands and whimpering. He hated that disgusting elf, it was the reason Lill was in this situation. He should have kept an eye on her! But he didn't, which infuriated Nicodeamus.
After a heated arugment with his father, he finally agreed not to give him clothes, grudging. "Sleep well, Lill," he muttered, before finally falling asleep, still sitting in the chair. Lillian moaned and rolled over, in a deep sleep, clutching the stuffed bunny that she was so partial to.

to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
I most definetally enjoyed reading this profile. I'd be in his fanclub <3.
Lulz, but really, he sounds like a wonderful character to play. Loads of fun.
Just keep in mind that he cannot, in fact, be a half giant unless given
specific permisson my Ally or myself. And neither of us shall even begin
thinking about accepting more-than-magical students until the roleplay
gets well underway. Anyways, have fun and I can't wait to see
Nicodeamus Du Noir (had to feel the name out!) in action! xDD
