I am learning guitar, and I don't know which song to start with!
Do you know some I can start with?

I am listening to Rock,Metal,Speed Metal, and a LITTLE bit of SCREAMING Metal.(Anyone know the real name?)
I like System Of A Down,Dragonforce,Franz Fredinand,Ozzy Osbourne,...

Metal's difficult. Don't go for that right away. I've been working on Madhouse for weeks and I still can't play the intro fast enough. You'll be learning a bunch of old songs that you don't even like for a while. Don't worry though. Eventually you'll learn all you need to know and the world will be your burrito.
What have you learned about guitar so far? I don't want to give you a list of songs with confusing tabs.

A lot of great songs are made up of simple chords and simple techniques. Check out this website, there are tons of easy songs archived by decades.

Although I do agree in part with the previously stated points, I do think it is VERY important to actually LIKE your first couple of songs. you will play some songs your alittle... iffy with, very soon infact, but right now it's picking out some nice simple pieces that you know and can atleast enjoy being able to play... if your an Ozzy fan, whack your chops around 'Iron Man' and 'Paranoid', then maybe 'Crazy Train' if you REALLY want to break your balls burning_eyes

Try 'Take me out' aswell if your into FF, but FORGET about Dragonforce for the next few years... not saying you COULDN'T do it or nothing, but the years you would spend laying down the intro to fire and flames would be much better used on getting good

Sex Pistols are a good start aswell, some Maiden as I remember my Metalhead youth wasn't too hard either *sighs in nostalgic fashion*

Also, don't forget to learn ALL of your favourate theme tunes. Chances are it's not that hard and it'll always bring back that sence of nostalgia... plus it's the ONLY thing to play at parties.

Peace

Try Out Breakin' the Law by Judas Priest.
You might be able to play Iron man too, not the whole song, just that one opening.

Ok! btw, Dragonforce was not in my learning list.... It's just that I like the band.

i wouldn't try the metal stuff yet until you've gone over rhythmic guitar. It may not be your style but the first song I learned was "Good Riddance" by Green Day

The White Stripes "Seven Nations Army" and NIN "The Hand That Feeds" are pretty easy songs to learn.

Thanks for all those songs!
@Fenky: I will follow your burrito and don't go for some metal.

@Limeyman:The link is great; I like a lot of song, so I can choose from a wide variety.

@Aagark: Take me Out? Well, I'll keep that in mind. "Prevention is better than the cure" Thanks for the reminder!

@xLongIis4loversx: I like Green Day too... Ok for Good Riddance!

@Raider83: The good old Smoke On The Water.

@R i c k y x3: Ooh! The White Stripes!

Man, do you know me personally or what? Because all what you said is good!

Continue to post some songs...

First thing I learned was wild thing. A stupid easy song is chasing cars by snow patrol. The main part of the song is:
G|---7--|
B|-----9|
over and over again.
