THE CANYON FIELD!
The Canyon walls toward high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces themselves are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces themselves are very damp (moss is also present due to the continuous moisture) which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff, announcing an option for land-based pokemon such as to grab and swing; however, these cannot bare that much weight and WILL break if such a thing happens. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Visually is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone.

"Ooh, the Canyon Field," Renekai said from her trainer's podium, looking into the abyss that was the canyon. "But that's no problem for you two! Just keep flying."
Dreydonna, who was perched on Renekai's head as usual, bobbed excitedly. "Gaas!" she said.
Bell merely glared. Would she ever see the beloved Ice Field again? Dreydonna had it easy, being able to levitate, but Bell had to work to fly!
"Alright, you two! This won't be an easy match, so keep on your guard!" Renekai said cheerfully.

Hooking the microphone headset onto her ear, Jen looked down towards the pool at the bottom of the canyon. It was just as deep as she remembered it from the battle with Prince...
"Shuuuuuuushu! Shuppet!" A cackle and a teal, sheet-like body went floating past her head as it avoided the various swipes by the electric pokemon clinging to her shoulder.
"Rai! RAICHU CHU!" Aeon fumed and shook his fist at the shiny Shuppet. That pokemon was a mischief-maker, enjoying the torment it caused to himself and his teammates...if only he could.....Aeon growled and jumped, so he was balancing on the bar of the trailer platform.
Jen poked each of her pokemon to stop throwing hissy-fits at one another before waving at Rene acorss the field. This was gunna be an interesting battle.

Renekai waved back. "Hey, 'Donna!" Renekai said, pointing to Aden. "Looks like Jen has a ghost pokemon too, and he looks like a prankster, just like you."
"Gaaassst....." Dreydonna said, floating to the rail for a closer look. She stared at the shuppet for a moment, then stuck her long tongue out and widened her eyes, making funny faces at the other ghost type.
"And look, Bell! There's Aeon, I expect he's going to try to get his revenge for you hurting Abiba..."
"I'd like to see him try," Bell sniffed.
"Well, we're ready!"

Blinking at the Ghastly, Aden floated closer and blinked more at the faces she was making at him. He just kinda "stood" there for a moment before suddenly rearing up and hissing at Dreydonna, eyes pupil-less and fangs glimmering all scary-like while an evil smile split across his face. It usually worked as a good prank on his trainer and his fellow teammates....
Jen did a facepalm at her new pokemon. "Aden...I don't think that's gunna work on another ghost pokemon..." Pinching the bridge of her nose, Jen glanced at Aeon as he did the same thing she was doing.
Migraines were gunna become very common very soon.....
"Okay Rene, we're ready to go when you are!" She waved to her friend as Aeon attempted to grab at and control the new pokemon.

Dreydonna cackled as the shuppet tried to scare her, but she merely copied him, hissing and howling with her fangs out, tongue lolling, and eyes large and glaring. However, her fun was short-lived, for Renekai had just given an order...
"Bell! Use Aurora Beam on whoever comes out to take it!"
Bell flew into position, mulitcolored lights dancing in a ball in her beak. She ignored the camera that followed her, and merely took aim at Jen before firing her beam. Colorful lights flew over the ceiling in an Aurora Borealis. So, which pokemon would take the Beam to save their trainer?

Aden was just about to mimic the other ghost when an orange and brown blur went flying by, causing poor Aden to spin rapidly and float backwards into his trainer.
"Shuuuuuuuuuu......." Wow.....why were there stars floating around his head?
Aeon had launched himself into battle as soon as Bell took the field; blinking rapidly as the Aurora Beam blinded him, the Raichu did a swan dive off the railing and grabbed at a tree that was sticking outside of the canyon wall about halfway down.
"Rai! Chuu...." Ow....that hurt....Shifting his sore shoulders, the Raichu climbed onto the tree and, with sparks flying from his cheeks, charged up his attack. Now...waiting on the command....
Holding a dizzy Aden in her hands, she called out what he wanted her to say.
"AEON! Use Thunder!"
Bright bolts of lightning shot out from the electric pokemon and towards his intended target flying above him.

Renekai winced as the thunder attack jolted Bell so hard that she fell several feet before she was able, painfully, to take to the air again. Bell was mad now!
"Mud-Slap!" Renekai spoke into her microphone.
Bell dove to one side of the canyon, scooping up some of the moist soil in one foot. Bell turned and swooped at Aeon, hurling the soggy mess at his face.

Aeon flailed as the mud-mess smacked him in the face, causing the pokemon to slip off his perch and tumble the rest of the way down to the bottom of the canyon.
Jen winced as her pokemon landed with a large splash; Aden, on the otherhand, found this all to be very amusing. He cackled and bobbed up and down, blowing a razzberry at the ripples in the pool below.
She bopped Aden on the head with her palm and glared when he did the: "WHAT DID I DO?!" expression. "Learn to be a bit more supportive of your teammates!" Fixing the headset, she spoke the next command. "AEON! Let's go again! GIGA IMPACT!!"
Jumping out of the water and landing on the small amount of land at the field, the Raichu curled up his fists and launched himself at the canyon wall. At contact, the tremors rocked the field and sent loose stones flying in all directions.
((It's a normal-type move.))

"Mud-Slap!" Renekai shouted, seeing Aeon rocketing up the canyon.
Bell flew as fast as she could to the side, but Aeon still hit her pretty hard. "Del!" Bell screeched, then grabbed two foot-fulls of mud and flung them, one after another, at Aeon before he could react.
Renekai gritted her teeth. This was going tp be quite a battle...
Dreydonna cackled and spun upside down, watching the fight.

Thankfully, as he started to fall, Aeon had grabbed and clung to the tree he had been perched on before as the mud was lauched in his direction. Hanging upside down by his tail, the Raichu wiped the mossy mud out of his eyes and glared at the blasted bird. GEEZ! This bird was about as annoying as that giant chicken called "Prince"!
Swinging back and forth, Aeon taunted Bell by making mocking faces and shouting insults. As he did his little act, the electricity stored in his cheeks started sparking.
"Oh boy...." Jen could see that he was really working to get Bell riled up. Why he did it...she would never know.
Finsihed powering up, Aeon grinned and launched a Thunderbolt attack at the Delibird with a loud "Cccccccccccchhhhhhhuuuuuuuu!"

"Mud-Slap!" Renekai called before Bell could retaliate in her rage.
Bell was hit by the lightning attack, and her feathers were starting to spark and look a little burnt on the tips. This did nothing to help her temper. She was so angry at Aeon that she flew blindly to the side of the canyon, scooped up a large hunk of wet dirt with both feet, and pecked several sharp rocks into the mass, just so it would hurt that much more. Slowed a little by the extra weight, Bell flew to Aeon to drop the mud bomb on him.

(( Edit: WAIT! I forgot about the -50 ATK. xD;; So the Normal attack did 50 damage, and this Thunderbolt did 100, so... *fixes HP*
Edit edit: Aha! 300 damage! >8DD ))

SPLAT!
Aeon cried out and flailed unhappily, THAT WAS COLD AND WET! NOT TO MENTION THE ROCKS! Glaring at the evil pink chicken, Aeon charged up and let loose another electrical attack. This time, it was Thunder again.
Aeon blew another Razzberry at Bell as he wiped away the mud/rock combo mess out of his fur. Somehow...throughout this chaos, he managed to keep his tail wrapped around that tree trunk.

Renekai opened her mouth to make the next command, but Bell was too quick for her.
Bell flew at top speed to the mud, scooped some up, and hurled it at Aeon. "Dumb rat!" Bell screeched to Aeon. He was REALLY getting on her nerves!
Renekai shook her head. Bell was getting so mad that she wouldn't listen, or wait, for orders anymore! Not again!
Dreydonna cackled and floated around the trainer's stand. She loved the negative emotions coming from the two pokemon, although Dreydonna only ate dreams. Still, it was making for a fun, chaotic battle.
