I think something is wrong with our server.. our AH is becoming Over full and prices are going down REALLY fast!

could be a reflection of the mog lotto? or of the culling of bots (although I still see heaps of bots around the place - how do you report that kind of thing?? )

OR is it because our server is becoming empty??

This is in most Auction houses too! not just jeuno and windy...

Every few years, the economy goes way down, and then it rises back up. It's pretty normal. Even though the majority of the inflation is caused by gilsellers. scream

ahh.. I thought that maybe because of the cracking down on bots and gil sellers that the prices were coming down.

You see, people want to make money but they don't have gil to buy what they wanted too.

The inflation caused by RMTs is the major problem on this imo. Some of the items' prices gone up and never come back down on my server...

Yeah SE has a tendency to go for a short sudden blitz of gilsellers rather than getting rid of them slowly and steadily. This might be effective but it does mean that the economy swings up and down quite erratically. Everyone's in the same boat though.
If you're having trouble selling your onions its because the chefs aren't buying them because they can't sell their end products because farmers like you can't buy the end products because their onions aren't selling. Phew.
This will right itself naturally eventually smile In the mean time you can 1) save your onions and make gil on them later when prices go up again (go go mule storage) or 2) abuse the price drops to level up your own crafting skills.

I haven't really noticed deflation on my server recently, but I don't craft and it tends to be the crafters who notice it most >w<

We crafters feel these shifts and can really feel it when the prices for our end products go down and when the price for materials go up. but, i fell it more than others since I like to help new players and my standard gift is usually armor for them any way.
