Learning to Take A Screen Shot

Well this is something I did not know much about so I asked around and just in case anyone in here wanted to know I thought I would pass it along to you.

To take a screen shot of anything ....

-Press the print screen key on your computer keyboard. It's at the very top.
-Go to any graphic program, like paint and paste it. It will copy the whole screen as you see it. So you can play with it by cutting out sections you don't want.
-Then save it to your computer by "saving as"
-If you want to post it online, you have to upload your image in a host server like photobucket. Then just copy the link.

I hope this might help someone who has been trying and not getting the help they need to get it done. heart

Yea print screen only makes it a copy, which means you must go to paint or a program like that and press paste to get the pic then save it. biggrin

I never used to know that and I'd be like, "Huh? How'd they do that?" And when I found out, I was like, "Oooh..." And then, I showed off my superior computing skillz to my friends. It does come in useful yet most people, like me, are afraid to ask 'cause they think that they should already know. So, this way, more people can learn without getting all shy mrgreen

stare When i first learned how to take screen-shots I was suprised. I thought it was like this complex sort of system or way to do so. But i was wrong. All you do is click a button on your laptop or computer, then paste -.-
