All right, so I decided that my centaur character Aevisaan is a shopkeeper. What I need from everyone is suggestions. I need a list of all possible things he can sell in his shop, whether to centaurs or to sell to humans. This, of course, isn't actual items to buy and sell in Gaia, just a RP store.
So far, I've come up with a few things.
Centaur-made clothing. With the way humans are, these'll be all the rage one day. Genuine Centaur Pottery. There will always be people who like the unique style of pottery made by other cultures. Other Centaur crafts and knicknacks. Again, people love buying stuff because they think it looks neat. Meat, fish, and hides supplied by centaur hunters and fishers. Even if centaurs don't eat meat themselves, they can still sell them. Also, why don't the centaurs take control of the fish market? ^_^ Woven grass panels, shades, awnings, huts, umbrellas. Go for the all-natural look!
All right, this is what I've come up with. What I like for people to suggest are anything else that centaurs can make that can be sold.
Edit: By huts, I mean portable ones. Like.... a long rolled mat that can be unrolled and arranged in a C shape and have a roof placed on top. No doubt good for the nomads.

There's nothing saying that centaurs can't be omnivores either. They don't have to be vegetarian. I mean, there's still the half human part that is perfectly fine with meat.
And, er....when I said I wanted ideas for stuff to sell in my shop, I didn't mean houses. I meant more...things that can be carried. Portable items.

I don't think all centaurs are vegetarians. But yes, the stores should stock those as well. And fruits.

Ok! Yeah, vegetables and fruits as well, along with basic care products. And if any centaurs have pets, items for them. And of course, toys for the centaur foals..

If there were more than one store then they could specialize in certain items, but since you're the only one so far that's offered to open one up, everyone's putting their eggs in your basket. xD

At this rate, I'll be one of the richest Centaurs on Gaia! Maybe I should have Aevisaan be a mage and make magical bags of holding for storage. Those should sell pretty well. I was planning on having Aevisaan be a magic-user anyway, so he could cast ice spells on perishable items to keep them fresh.

Sounds good. It would make the necessity of machines (freezers, ovens, etc.) not so...well, necessary. ><
